Online donors were guided into weekly recurring contributions. Demands for refunds spiked. Complaints to banks and credit card companies soared. But the money helped keep Donald Trump's struggling campaign afloat.

Stacy Blatt was in hospice care last September listening to Rush Limbaugh's dire warnings about how badly Donald J. Trump's campaign needed money when he went online and chipped in everything he could: $500.

It was a big sum for a 63-year-old battling cancer and living in Kansas City on less than $1,000 per month. But that single contribution " federal records show it was his first ever " quickly multiplied. Another $500 was withdrawn the next day, then $500 the next week and every week through mid-October, without his knowledge " until Mr. Blatt's bank account had been depleted and frozen.

How farking pathetic.

Recurring monthly payments is one thing, especially not a scam when it's made very clear that you will be charged routinely moving forward.

Recurring payments that take place the next day and then the next week and then the next month without being explicit about the payment schedule is an absolute scam. I'm not surprised that Trump implemented this, but it truly is amazing to me that this happened.

Just makes one wonder how much more of this crap will be uncovered now that Trump is finally out of office. Scamming his supporters, sitting on sex trafficking investigation of Republican congressman, what's next?

Grifter's gotta grift, and when you've been grifting as long as Combover Quisling, you figure all the angles to removing as much money from the rubes as is humanly possible. Orange Adolf couldn't give two chits about the old guy with cancer, what he's concerned about is that the guy might have some change in his couch cushions that won't make it into the fat orange sloth's oversized pocket.

Good thing he gutted the consumer financial protection bureau.

That was the best business decision he ever made.

Worth repeating, boldly...

Stat of the Day
The 2020 Trump campaign accounted for up to 3% of all credit card fraud claims in the entire country, the New York Times reports.

The scuzz who routinely stole from hospice patients was the perfect representative of the garbage who voted for him.
