How long until Jethro shoots up a massage parlor with his newly legal pistol? No regulation of murder machines, yeah, that's real bright.

Look. Real men carry guns into public to protect the ladies from disrespect. It's a chivalry thing.

We need more people with guns to protect us from people with guns!

2nd Amendment or no 2nd Amendment, this country is insane!

"Nobody's sayin' you can't own a gun. Nobody's sayin' you can't carry a gun. All we're sayin' is you can't carry a gun in town."

Hell, this country shouldn't be allowed firearms.

EFFETEPOSER asked, "How long until Jethro shoots up a massage parlor with his newly legal pistol? "

My guess is it would be about the same amount of time as if there wasn't permitless carry. People who commit an illegal act with a gun don't worry too much about whether they are carrying their weapon legally or not.

One of 19 states. Out of 50?

Lessee... 19/50... carry the 1... 38/100= 38%!

Why does that 35-38% number seem to crop up everywhere?

A lot of them are going to be surprised when they can't take their guns into Dollywood.

And it's higher than Trump's final job approval rating of 29%!

Donald Trump's final job approval rating as president was 29% in a Pew Research Center poll released last week, the lowest of his presidency and a 9 percentage point drop since August, when 38% of U.S. adults approved. The decrease stood out because even some of the momentous events of the past four years did not affect Trump's approval rating very much.

This shouldn't be surprising. A few years ago they passed a law here allowing guns in bars.

Booze and guns ... what could go wrong?

Taking bar fights to a whole 'nother level

@#16 ...Taking bar fights to a whole 'nother level ...

Stressed-out millennials are flocking to bars where they can throw axes at a target " here's what it's like
www.businessinsider.com

...Never since "The Shining" have axes had so much time in the spotlight.

In cities around the nation, ax-throwing bars are opening their doors to stressed-out millennials seeking a night of release and friendly competition.

On a recent evening at Kick Axe Throwing in Brooklyn, New York, groups of eager ax-throwers sipped craft beer and waited for their time in the ring, where they would compete in a series of games like "Knockout" and "21."

Since the venue opened in December 2017, it has attracted a steady stream of city dwellers looking to blow off steam by heaving a metal ax at a fixed wooden target. In recent years, ax-throwing has grown so popular that the World Axe Throwing League was formed in 2017 to organize international competitions that are now broadcast on ESPN. At the same time, retailers like Nordstrom are selling out of artisan axes....

Artisan axes?

Doubt I'll try it myself, but it sounds like fun!

This is for white folks only. Any dark-skinned person seen with a gun becomes an immediate target of any law enforcement officer, vigilante, crossing guard or suburban mom packing heat. Don't believe me? Just watch. If Oprah, Derrick Henry or Tina Turner were to be seen with a Raven .25 they would be fired upon...

Is the Camellia Grill still in business? Last time I was there (over 10 years ago) the servers were hilarious. Most of them looked to be in their 80's. They were so jaded they made crusty old NY servers look like Welcome Wagon ambassadors by comparison.

The "Debris Sandwich" at Mother's was memorable too.

I can't see how it would worse than what's already going on. I mean, the lunatics shooting up people in public don't gain anything from this. I'm sure none of the mass shooters thought "hmmm it's now legal to carry so bows the time to make my move".

Besides, like myself, if someone is a law abiding citizen and has no criminal history, it should be their right to do so regardless of what any mealy-mouth politician thinks.

Oh good.

Just what this state needs, idiots with no education whatsoever running around with guns.

Guess I'd better get a carry gun. As if I needed something else to deal with.

AU,

I'm not sure I'll have to check on that one for you. A lot of places closed and many of them for good.

I don't get out much because this place is a urine-soaked hell-hole.

Louisiana: Possession of a gun in your vehicle is perfectly legal in Louisiana as the vehicle is considered an extension of your home (As it is worded in LRS 14:95.2: "Any constitutionally protected activity which cannot be regulated by the state, such as a firearm contained entirely within a motor vehicle.")

Nope. LRS 14:95.2 addresses Carrying a firearm or dangerous weapon by a student or nonstudent on school property, at school-sponsored functions, or in a firearm-free zone legis.la.gov

Guess again.
