Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Monday, April 26, 2021

Our Capitol was attacked by a mob that believed that the 2020 election was being stolen. They were encouraged by the lies and actions of President Trump and many Republican members of Congress. In the name of accountability, it's vitally important we remember which Congressional Republicans stood with democracy and the Constitution, and which did not.

Trump, Republican members of Congress and the people who were involved in the insurrection don't want to live in this country.

So lets help them. Take them out to international waters and drop them off.

[I]t is a sobering warning for the rest of the country. What has happened to the Republican Party, it's terrible for governance, but it's also terrible for the direction that the country is going in, especially a country that is changing demographically as quickly as the United States.

We are not going to be able to hold the enterprise that is America together as long as one of the two major parties in this country, one, doesn't govern, and, two, gives voice to and gives cover for domestic terrorists, racism, and the perpetuation of white supremacy.

We will not survive if that is the way the Republican Party will remain.

Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Two Tribes

Lyrics excerpt:

When two tribes go to war
A point is all that you can score

Mine is the last voice that you will ever hear...

(excerpted from the EP version of the song)

(find it if you can. I couldn't)

Saw them at the Greek Theater in L.A. back in the day. Great show.

On the EP I have, the actual title of the song is

Annihilation (Two Tribes)

Seems apropos, even though the song is nearly 40 years old...

W said it would be a lot easier if it were a dictatorship and he was the dictator.

The bloated------------- conned his dumbest magats into actually attacking our democracy. Georgia has made it easier to replace a functioning election system with a set of toadies beholden to their party leaders.

AZ hired a known conspiracy theorist to "audit" the election. In one county. And they are demanding it be done in secret. No press. No public. No cameras.

We all knew Republic*nts didn't actually want poor people to vote, but now it is painfully clear just how far they will go to appease their tyrant.

Republicans would rather have Apartheid in America.

ANYONE that defends this, is neither Pro-America,
nor, not a racist...

The irony is this is the party that wanted to democratize Afghanistan and Iraq. Spread freedom aslt.

Here we are. 7 trillion dollars later dressing up our cut-and-run policy to not look so cut-and-runny.
