A man in Texas died unexpectedly after being attacked by a swarm of bees in his yard. A 70-year-old man was mowing his lawn in Breckenridge when he was attacked by a swarm of Africanized honey bees, also known as killer bees.

Of all the ways to check out, being smothered by bees and stung to death would be near the bottom of my list.

I still remember the first time I got stung when I was five. We'd just moved here from California and I was out in the backyard poking my finger into a hole that looked like it had some kind of creature in it. It wasn't very pleased.
