"This time, we won't look the other way on Coca-Cola's $12 billion in back taxes owed. This time, when Major League Baseball lobbies to preserve its multibillion-dollar antitrust exception, we'll say no thank you. This time, when Boeing asks for billions in corporate welfare, we'll simply let the Export-Import Bank expire."

Title and sub-heading from the cited article...

...

Your Woke Money Is No Good Here

Corporations have taken advantage of Republicans for too long. I won't take their PAC dollars anymore.

...

So Sen Cruz is saying that he will no longer accept donations from corporations that are funneled through PACs?

Bluff... Just like the McConnell bluff from a few weeks ago.

At least the Party is (once again thanks to Trump's influence)
showing just how desperate and despicable they have become.
It's all out in the open now...

This will make a great campaign ad.

Does this moron think that no one is listening to him, reading what he writes or watching what he does? There are plenty of companies out there that will fund Rafael's comedy tour and re-election campaign, but nearly all of them are either privately held or otherwise controlled by one person or family, and don't care what their employees and customers think. Most others recognize this attempt to peddle influence and see it as unethical and perhaps illegal, and realize that this fool cannot help them much from behind bars, or otherwise out of office...

"This time?"

What an idiot.

This is honestly chilling. This POS is admitting they will give preferential treatment to corporations that support GQP ideals, and penalize those that support American ideals like equal and easy access to voting. So they are actually doing what they accused the Obama Administration of doing, picking winners and losers. The GQP is a cancer on this country, and Cancun Cruz is a cancer on the cancer, like malignant melanoma on your small cell carcinoma. He needs to be excised from our politics ASAP!

Rafi really is just a silly, jabbering, greasepaint-slathered old tart.

How's he gonna get back to Cancun?

He's taking a page out of Trump's play book, trying to separate himself from all the other politicians, saying the quiet part out loud for Trump's base to hear. It barely worked for Trump and I doubt it will work for Cruz.

Simply put, Cruz does NOT have Trump's name. And to behave this way and receive support for it, you've got to be rocking Trump's name. Cruz is a fraud, even in Trumpian terms.

Anyone that actually believes Cruz has grown a conscience is just stupid. He is totally incapable of growing one about anything. He has been a liar his entire career and actually supported Trump after Trump insulted his own wife. Nothing he can ever say will cause me to believe he is anything but a hypocritical piece of filth.

#10 Cruz is too ham handed to make it work. It has nothing to do with Trump's name.

The danger, though, is this is normalizing. The GOP is losing what uncomfortableness they had over overt expressions of fascism.

As gunslinger pointed out, several members of the GOP have made it their plan to use the full power of the government to punish corporations that speak out against them.

And you hear nothing from other members of the GOP about how that is actual fascism. How that violates ever value and ideal they ever claimed to hold.

No, as much as he wants to be, Cancun Cruz won't be the dictator that kills America's democracy. Hell just be the ambitious clown who paves the way.

All accusations by the GQP are actually confessions. The Projection is strong with them. I still think the FBI needs to pay a visit to all of the pizza restaurants in the US that have basements...I have high confidence that they will find a pedophile sex slavery ring, they're just looking in the wrong place.

Where is Humtake to explain the party that wants to raise corporate taxes and the party that wants to eliminate them are both the same?

Who gives a shht.

Ted Cruz could incite an insurrection at the capitol building, leading to the death and injury of capitol police, and not lose a vote.

Or face any repercussions for his insurrection.

Democrats are failures.

Republicans are true artists when it comes to turning the tables on the accuser. Cruz is telling corporations you need us more than we need you so go pound sand ~~ when actually it's quite the opposite. Politicians spend most of their time in office panhandling and making promises for the almighty campaign buck that pays for their job security.
