Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Four months after former President Donald Trump was banished from most mainstream social media platforms, he returned to the web last Tuesday with "From the Desk of Donald J. Trump," essentially a blog for his musings.

Admin's note: Participants in this discussion must follow the site's moderation policy. Profanity will be filtered. Abusive conduct is not allowed.

"The most popular shares of Trump's new content came from conservative outlets and activists. The top post on the blog, in which Trump railed against the Facebook Oversight Board's decision to uphold his Facebook ban, garnered just 16,000 engagements."

You have to see the clown to be entertained by it. A clown blogging about being a clown is just dull.

"A clown blogging about being a clown is just dull."

Dull, redundant and self-serving ~~ nothing but the same old self-pity we've been hearing since November 4, 2020.

He's still following the Joseph Goebbels playbook ~ "The Value of Repetitive Propaganda."

I'm thinking of another book, too, as yet unwritten:

"My Life as a Professional Victim"

The big draw on Twitter was to see what the daily bullsnot the sack of triglycerides was rage tweeting out. Many normal people followed him to just see what the daily insanity from the white house was. I am guessing that the daily insanity of the former guy is not so much of a draw.

People are just not interested in what a twice impeached lewzer has to say.

His schtick is like beef left on the counter for two weeks.

He has never done anything right in the past, so why would he start now?

In a week, he's only had 281,000 interactions including likes, shares, mentions, etc across all social media platforms.

This site probably had just as many page views ... LOL

What this should tell you is that Trump's appeal isnt that strong among Republicans as liberals want you to think.

Not every Repub is a Trumper.

Not every Repub is a Trumper.

Republicans kicked Liz Cheney to the curb for daring to talk out against Trump.

If you're still a Republican. You are a Trumper.
