Lindell promised at least 30,000 attendees. They are nowhere close. In fact, there's only 2000 chairs even set up, and there's plenty of space. So far, 10 people showed up.

Still, no flyover, which Lindell attempted to have happen at the end of the anthem. Here is the clip from Lindell looking around, trying to find the jets in the air. pic.twitter.com/t6ruZhyJK2" Zachary Petrizzo (@ZTPetrizzo) June 12, 2021

Looks like he got 1000 out of the promised 30,000, only missing his promised attendence by 29,000

His undoing was his last visit to the White House and being so eager to show off he had access to the President.

He couldn't contain himself and actually had his prepared speech out where "Marshall law if necessary" was picked up by a camera.

Dumb.

His downfall isn't Trump's fault, it's his own.

If he hadn't been such a show off to visit the White House one last time, he would have been left alone.

Actully Trump holds some blame for inspiring Lindell. TO deny that is pure dishonesty.

And yet the GOP has been completely cowed.

Or so they want us to think.

More than likely their "fear" of Trump is just the faade put up to cover for their authoritarian tendencies.

The flag in the banner of the videos is creepy.

A vertical American flag with a cross on it.

Gross. Just gross. The kind of thing you'd expect from theocratic --------.

"Trump spoke via the glitchy Jumbotron, and whined about the election yet again. He also called immigrants "killers" and "thugs." How pathetic are your supporters to listen to the exact same garbage over and over again? One of the funniest things was the float that said TRUMP 2021, because the morons in attendance still actually believe Trump will be "reinstated" in two months.

Lindell closed out begging his audience to share videos of the event on his new platform, which is a feature that is not even enabled yet. By and large, this event has been ignored by the media, but Lindell paid a fortune putting it on. That makes me smile."

@#8 ... His downfall isn't Trump's fault, it's his own. ...

Are you saying that fmr Pres Trump did not know Mr Lindell was coming to visit him at the White House and that fmr Pres Trump did not know the unfettered fealty that Mr Lindell showed toward fmr Pres Trump?

While I agree with you somewhat, that Mr Lindell needs to take responsibility for his own actions, I also say that fmr Pres Trump's preaching to the cult he created amplified what Mr Lindell did.

Phrased a little differently, at what point would you say that the leader of a cult becomes responsible for the actions of the cult?

I'm starting to think that the MSM has been giving Trump and his minions far too much attention, just to keep the drama going.

@#18 ... I'm starting to think that the MSM has been giving Trump and his minions far too much attention ...

It is the current GOP that is giving fmr Pres trump all the attention.

The media is just reporting what is going on in the politics of the Country.

If the media ignored what is going on in the GOP wrt fmr Pres Trump, I'd say that there would be an uproar because they are not covering what is occurring.

Stated differently, don't blame the messenger for the message conveyed.

They get clicks, as proven here on the DR.

Biden is so ------- boring, anything related to him doesn't get clicks. Trump brought clicks to the media like war brings eyeballs to television. Media is struggling removing itself from the Trump drip.

Lamp,

"Are you saying that fmr Pres Trump did not know Mr Lindell was coming to visit him"

Your question should be did Trump invite Lindell or did Lindell come on his own?

I don't know...do you?

What I do know is most people carry important speeches in a brief case or a folder, not out in the open ready to go.

But Lindell was so hot to trot he couldn't even wait to take it out to read it.

If Lindell had just not returned to the White House days before Trump was nearly packed to leave, he wouldn't have gotten himself in so much hot water and he would just look more like a faithful puppy dog instead of an instigator.

My guess is Lindell liked being able to enter the White House like he was some official and wanted to go there one last time before Trump left.

@#22 ... Your question should be did Trump invite Lindell or did Lindell come on his own? ...

No one goes to and meets with the president of the United States without the President knowing about it, usually by invitation.

So I would say that Mr Lindell had an invitation, and did not just drop in.

... My guess is Lindell liked being able to enter the White House like he was some official ...

If you do not work there, you do not drive up to the White House, park your car and just enter the White House. The White House is not a 7-11.

Lamp,

I would agree you can't just drive up and walk in but if you have a phone number you can call and invite yourself.

I don't know what sort of friendship or alliance they had.

And neither do you.

#33 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2021-06-14 09:23 PM | Reply

Lamp,

My original point was Lindell brought this down on himself.

If he had not walked in with a paper reporters could see with a camera, he would have just been Trump's weird pillow friend.

And likely we wouldn't be seeing this desperate attempt to vindicate himself (and save his business).

He had access to Trump and took advantage of it to his chagrin.

With what? The proof he never seems to produce??? So far he's been all hot air, all promises and no product.

Of course, he can lie all he wants...until he slanders Dominion in the process; at that point, he's shot himself in the foot; no one else to blame.
