A 34-year-old congregant of Hillsong Church and graduate of Hillsong College died Wednesday after a month-long bout with the coronavirus during which he posted jokes about the COVID-19 vaccine. "Biden's door to door vaccine surveyors' really should be called JaCovid Witnesses. #keepmovingdork," Stephen Harmon tweeted on July 8, after posting in June: "IF YOU'RE HAVING EMAIL PROBLEMS, I FEEL BAD FOR YOU, SON. I GOT 99 PROBLEMS BUT A VAX AIN'T ONE!"

You gotta love cancervative humor.

Sorry Charlie. Vaccine or Die and he chose death. Pretty simple.

These anti-vaxxers belong to a gang. Much of their antics can be explained by how desperately they want to show other gangsters how important gang membership is to them.

The Grim Reaper doesn't give a flying ---- about your need to belong.

"trusting the Bible over Dr. Anthony Fauci"

What does this even mean?

Correct.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

It's not an easy death either.

"The final time I saw him was Friday probably four hours before his death and I was so shocked because he just couldn't breathe properly." Jonathan added: "His lungs were filling with fluid and rattling,"

Slowly drowning in your own fluids.

""trusting the Bible over Dr. Anthony Fauci""

Did the Bible recommend getting vaccinated? Dr. Fauci did. It would have saved your stupid life but hey, if it isn't in the Bible then don't listen to science. The stupidity marches on.

The phrase "God helps those who help themselves" may not be in the Bible, but this one is:

"Jesus answered him, "It is also written: Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'"'
--Mathew 4:7

Why we are dignifying this man's idiotic comments regarding the vaccinations is beyond me. WE should be repeating the statements of those who encouraged vaccines not giving attention to the fools who disregarded all the warnings. I don't really care what any anti-vaxxer had to say about much of anything. I try not to waste my time listening to the rantings of idiots. Their deaths do not somehow make their comments intelligent.

is
Who is "dignifying" his comments or trying to make them sound intelligent? Looks like everyone is pointing out how this man's ignorance very likely led to his death. His is a cautionary tale that will hopefully persuade others who feel similar to reconsider their position and protect themselves.

His gleeful, snot-nosed ignorance he just had to get Jesus involved in.

I see what you did there with the gang reference. Very clever.

Using the bible to portend anything is a silly as using the tarot or astrology for the same purpose.

A conservative talk-show host who said 'you're probably safer not getting' the vaccine is now seriously ill with COVID-19, and his family is asking people to 'PLEASE GO GET VACCINATED!'

Oh well.

I don't even have sympathy for those getting ill and dying in the USA from COVID if they have not got vaccinated at this point. Empathy for their family is even a question mark. Depends on the family's view of the Vaccine and COVID. You are CHOOSING it.

For those that are vaccinated I certainly do have empathy. They made an effort. The problem I have at this time is I think the number of breakthrough cases is being extremely under reported. Delta is EXTREMELY contagious, depending on what you read it reproduces over 50 times faster than Alpha in your system and is showing signs of evading Pfizer's vaccine and certainly J&J and most others.

I kinda agree this is a horror story and it's awful to hear ... except that these negative examples are also educational. I would prefer we stay positive and only show positive examples but Fear is also a very strong motivator.

Also if the situation was "reversed" the GOP would be showing all the reasons why you shouldn't get a vaccine. And shouting any "proofs" and supporting "statistics" to high heaven ( see Jim Jordan).m

As stories like this cancel a lot of the GOP disinformation crap and may even change a few minds. (see Sean Hannity)

Fear is the only language the GOP understands.

In fact, the virus is using this "need" to its advantage.

Anti vaxxers are aiding and abetting the enemy.
