Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday warned that its navy is ready to carry out an "unpreventable strike" on enemy targets if it was in the country's "national interests."

The blood of all those who died on flight MAS17 is on his hands. He must be really worried because he'll soon be the same age as Gaddafi.

Without Trump as an asset, Putin screams for revelence.

The Russian navy was once a formidable threat. By the time I was on active duty in the late 90s most it was rusting in port and not seaworthy. That's not to say they can't fight but they better think twice before attacking the English navy much less ours.

As a side note, I got to have more than an few drinks with a group of English sailors at the International Seafarer's Center in Dubai when our carrier and theirs were in port at Jebal Ali. What a great group of guys.

@#3 ... Without Trump to keep that skunk under the shed ...

Do you really think Pres Putin was afraid of fmr Pres Trump?

It was Pres Trump that was doing Pres Putin's bidding.

Remember that Oval Office party that fmr Pres Trump threw for the Russians and gave away classified info to the Russians?

I'm sure Israel does...

Horrified' Israeli intel officials were shouting at US counterparts' over Trump leak
www.timesofisrael.com

...US President Donald Trump's reported sharing of a highly classified Israeli tip with Russia led to incredibly tense meetings between Israeli and American intelligence officials, Foreign Policy Magazine reported Friday.

The Israelis reportedly shouted at their US counterparts, demanding an explanation for Trump's actions, according to the magazine, which quoted a US defense official.

"To them, it's horrifying," the official said. "Their first question was: What is going on? What is this?'"...

And then there was Helsinki....

"Do you really think Pres Putin was afraid of fmr Pres Trump?"

Maybe not afraid but wary. Trump is not a politician which made him unpredictable.
Unpredictability in world class chess makes everyone nervous.

@#6 ... Trump is not a politician which made him unpredictable.
Unpredictability in world class chess makes everyone nervous. ...

With that I'd agree.

fmr Pres Trump made the whole world nervous, allies and enemies.

But I do think it funny that your comment seems to conflate "world class chess" and fmr Pres Trump.

Chess is a strategy game.

fmr Pres Trump did not do strategy. He even had difficulties with tactics. Narcissistic whims were more his style.

On the stage in Helsinki, one dictator, and one dicktaster, you can figure out which was which.

I do believe that Putin and Trump had a codependency relationship but Putin, with his legacy (the U.S.S.R.) at stake, was definitely the one pulling the strings while Trump, with his narcissistic personality, only had visions of sugarplums (his very own dictatorship) dancing in his head.

I don't think either one of them have given up on their goals.

Trump turned out to be a dud but Putin will be in office until 2036 and still has many others in America's Republican political queue from which to chose ~ any one of which is smarter and more focused than Donald Trump turned out to be.

Woe is us if they get their way.

Maybe not afraid but wary.

HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Wary?!?!?!

Of what?

Another public tongue bath on the world stage from Fat Nixon?

Fat Nixon throwing our intelligence community under the bus to fluff Putin publicly again?

Get a fricking grip.

From 2017-2020 the Whitehouse was a wholly owned subsidiary of the KGB.

Phester, you're such a Republican Toad.

Joe isn't confused... But unless you want
a 'pre-emptive strike and WWIII', you have
to ignore the saber rattling and calmly position
your troops for the inevitable response,
should they act...

What if an irreversible attack on Russian bombers that entered our air space happened? Shoot down a few of their ancient fleet of airplanes and just say it was "irreversible."

So, Phester's view is that predictable dictators would insure world peace.

Not so much peace, but order.

As in "New World Order."
