Senators voted overwhelmingly Thursday to approve a $2.1 billion spending bill meant to shore up their own safety in the wake of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, reimburse the National Guard for a months long activation to secure the complex and relocate Afghans who helped the U.S. government during the war.

Very glad they passed the bill and especially so because they included the Afghan refugees who risked their lives helping us back in Afghanistan. I honestly feared we would turn our backs on them like Trump and Bush did to the Kurds.

FYI...every single GOP member in the House except one voted against funding the Capitol police.

#1 So, yes every single GOP House member except one voted to abandoned the Afghanis that helped the US forces. They are scum.
