Does the governors chair come with mud flaps?

Texans must be worse at building roofs than they are at building walls...

Texas is starting to remind me of my old car in high school with bald tires and a bench seat.

No good in the snow, no good in the heat, no good in the rain.

A storm that dumpeed 4" of rain in an hour flooded a building? Weird. Surely that's one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

The roof had nothing to do with it. Read the story.

Of what walls do you speak? Border walls? The state is prohibited by federal law to put up their own border walls. Texans wish they could legally erect them, however.

Do you have your third strike lined up, pumpkinhead?

Guess they are just going to have to get used to that, just like they have for covid I guess.

Not my battle, but I checked out the article and I remember Abbott going on and on about building the wall. I also got an earful from an ex 'friend' in Texas about how they're going to build the damn wall because Biden won't.

"Gov. Greg Abbott on Wednesday announced some new details of his plan for Texas to build its own border wall."
"Abbott's office did not immediately respond to a question about the state's authority to build a border wall..."
250 million on it, by the way.

On the roof issue, did you bother with reading the article or watching the video?
"Rain poured from the ceiling and down the walls"
Or do you think the Legislature is underground and the skylights are ground level?

Your "strikes" sure look like balls from here.

It's like gawd or some higher power is trying to send them a message or something.

No word yet on whether Governor Wheels Abbott called another special session of the legislature to gather a clean-up crew...

Republican policy blows up as usual in republican's faces. Climate change denial leads to climate change disasters. Too bad republican stupidity doesn't only hurt republicans.

A storm drain clogged. Get this, Historic Preservation Boards that manage the structures, are a bipartisan effort that exists in pretty much every state. Hard to believe right that Americans could have similar types of government doing similar duties?

Hey. Look at the bright side.

At least the lights stayed on this time.

Baby steps.

I live in the Dallas area. I've lost power this year due to cold weather, hot weather, and flash floods. Texas is a joke.

A real metaphor for what is happening to Texas right now ...
