My whole family and friends network is double vaxxed. We are spending time at the lake with friends.

I feel sorry the victims of ignorant religious zealots that are willing to die for a cause. Run while you can, see Afghanistan.

This isn't about religion this is about idiots not being able to handle life changing.

But the mask ban was upheld! That should cure COVID!

#3 - THIS!

I spent some time with my small town nephews recently and that was the key takeaway from the conversations. They can't handle the pace of change in society today. And these kids are late-teen/early twenties Zoomers. If they can't handle it, their parents are feeling the same.

This shouldn't be but is about religion and politics. There are enough nutter religious leaders out their leading their flocks to premature stops in the morgue.

Pete vaccines and religion kinda like this old joke:

A storm descends on a small town, and the downpour soon turns into a flood. As the waters rise, the local preacher kneels in prayer on the church porch, surrounded by water. By and by, one of the townsfolk comes up the street in a canoe.
"Better get in, Preacher. The waters are rising fast."
"No," says the preacher. "I have faith in the Lord. He will save me."
Still the waters rise. Now the preacher is up on the balcony, wringing his hands in supplication, when another guy zips up in a motorboat.
"Come on, Preacher. We need to get you out of here. The levee's gonna break any minute."
Once again, the preacher is unmoved. "I shall remain. The Lord will see me through."
After a while the levee breaks, and the flood rushes over the church until only the steeple remains above water. The preacher is up there, clinging to the cross, when a helicopter descends out of the clouds, and a state trooper calls down to him through a megaphone.
"Grab the ladder, Preacher. This is your last chance."
Once again, the preacher insists the Lord will deliver him.
And, predictably, he drowns.
A pious man, the preacher goes to heaven. After a while he gets an interview with God, and he asks the Almighty, "Lord, I had unwavering faith in you. Why didn't you deliver me from that flood?"
God shakes his head. "What did you want from me? I sent you two boats and a helicopter."

Want to fix this matter? Have local emergency response folk commandeer the football fields of every high school in Harris County, for use to pitch emergency Covid wards. No Friday night football to a Texan is like no Pearl or Shiner Beer--unthinkable. That will get the attention of those who need to that Covid more seriously...

#7 That joke is being played out in real life.
There's the Archbishop on a ventilator who said don't get vaxxed.
There's multiple dead right-wing talk show hosts who said don't get vaxxed.
There's multiple dead GOP politicians who said don't get vaxxed.
There's at least one dead Trumper cop who didn't get vaxxed.
There's Herman mother ------- Cain.
Hilarious!

I don't understand why anyone is lining up to get into the hospital in Houston. They just need to go back home and ride it out, it's just the flu...

Stop overrunning the hospitals with your covid-denying ignorant maskholishness. Stay home and live with your personal decisions.

"I don't understand why anyone is lining up to get into the hospital in Houston. They just need to go back home and ride it out, it's just the flu..."

I sure hope vaxxed patients get priority over unvaxxed ones.

(And yeah, I know they don't....)

Honestly what is emerging down south may be worse than what happened in NYC if you look at more current cases per capita. Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Missouri, Alabama, etc are going to use up all the refrigeration trucks.

Want to fix this? Send those that were eligible have not good reason for not vaccinating home to die there. No point in putting hospital workers through this.

Wow... Should have read that. lol

"Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Missouri, Alabama, etc are going to use up all the refrigeration trucks."

It's funny Dotard, and his plastic son-in-law downplayed the virus and offered very little federal response because they saw it as a blue state problem and the politics would let them run against the governors, who the regime failed. The jokes on them because it's now a rampant red state problem, and it's going to kill a LOT of their voters. Even in WA, where community transmission is high thanks to the reichwing unvaxxed nuts, it's those idiots ending up in the ICUs.

It's just the sniffles ya'll.

Why are so many Texans going to the hospital for the sniffles??

Thankfully it's Houston and their multiculturalism will save them.

It certainly won't hurt us. It's like living in a much less racist and well integrated LA. They're even shipping in some Afghan refugees. When is the last time you had authentic Ashak?
