It's likely double that number. Florida and Texas heinously under report Covid deaths by double most of the time.

#9 - I have never heard or seen credible reports to this. Can you provide a link to one?

If the state was underreporting, their numbers would not be in line with federal numbers in the state like VA or Medicare. This would surely raise red flags of under reporting by the state. That is why I question that statement and request a link to back up your assertion.

Whether Florida under reports or not the fact is Florida, under DeathSantis still leads the nation in deaths while that partisan hack tries to opressure School Boards to ignore the health of the students in their schools and uphold his ridiculous and dangerous ban on mask mandates. How anyone can support that vulture is beyond my ability to understand. His reelection and potential presidential run are the paramount objectives of his administration and the deaths of children in our schools are just necessary canon fodder. He remin ds me of the rich plantation owners who were willing to put the entire South into a Civil War in their selfish attempt to retain ownership of slaves. Just as DeathSantis doesn't give a crap about the health of our kids they didn't give a crap about the lives of poor Southern whites, who had never owned a slave in their lives, to fight in that terrible war to preserve the evil institution of slavery. If a Southern white man didn't want to fight for the Confederacy they just hung them on the spot, no trial, no nothing because the desires of the rich were much more important than the lives of the rest of America.
Nothing much has really changed.

By these numbers, Delta is killing nearly than 5% of those it sickens. Knowing that some of the illnesses are breakthrough infections that are not killing the vaccinated, Delta is ravaging the unvaccinated.

In Texas, it has to be a state certified test from a state recognized facility to count.

In Florida, the numbers don't match up at all.

#9 - "Florida and Texas heinously under report Covid deaths by double most of the time."

Actually, according to the article sycophant posted, it is more like 40%, not double. Also it stated that California, the country's largest state, is even worse at under reporting than Florida. The article also states:

"Florida still performs better than most states when it comes to reporting deaths, according to the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation. USF epidemiologist Jason Salemi breaks down the numbers."

Experts have stated, and we should assume, the COVID pandemic is much worse than we know.

The only firm number we have is 100,000+ currently in the hospital with COVID.

Can stupid people hurry up and die already?

The rest of us have lives to lead that are being dampened by the possibility of a breakthrough case.

TN Trumper Governor Lee says, "kids don't get sick from COVID" as he issues an executive order that gives parents the option of letting their kids go maskless in school. Cases up 364% in schools last week, and 1600 kids ended up in the hospital with COVID during the same week.

Considering that we're months away from flu season ...

If both hit at the same time, we're all in for a world of hurt. There simply will be zero hospital beds available as flu cases turn into pneumonia.
