Can't say I care if this guy lived or died, he chose to think that he knew more than the scientists and doctors and now he has paid the price for such arrogance.

More from the article...

...Steele's death was confirmed by his friend and fellow conspiracy theorist Mark Tassi...

Steele was in Florida for the final dates of his Arise USA tour, a three-month trek across all 50 states, during which he spread conspiracy theories about COVID-19, election fraud, and former President Donald Trump's supposedly imminent return to office. The tour had run out of money, but Steele was continuing to show up to events on his own.

Steele was joined for parts of the tour by Richard Mack, the head of the "Constitutional Sheriffs" movement, a group working to radicalize American law enforcement.

In his video, Tassi claimed without evidence that Steele's illness may have been linked to the attention his tour had gotten, and added that he was forced onto a ventilator because "they" wanted Florida and Gov. Ron DeSantis to look bad.

"Robert has died, and the whole thing is very suspicious," Tassi said. ...

The only thing that looks suspicious to me is the continuing denial by people such as Mr Tassi and Mr Steele.

@#3 ... Constitutional Sheriffs...

Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association
en.wikipedia.org

...The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) is a political organization of local police officials in the United States who believe that federal and state government authorities are subordinate to local government authority. Self-described "constitutional sheriffs" believe that sheriffs are the highest governmental authority and that they have the power and duty to defy or disregard laws they deem unconstitutional.[1][2] The movement is related to previous "nullification" and "interposition" notions,[3] and promotes such efforts.[4] It has been described as far-right by the Southern Poverty Law Center.[5] The CSPOA has claimed a membership of 400.[2]

The movement has some ideological similarities with the self-styled patriot movement and sovereign citizen movement, and some members of those movements also espouse "constitutional sheriff" ideology.[6][3] The "constitutional sheriff" or "county supremacy" movement itself arose from the far-right Posse Comitatus, a racist and anti-Semitic group of the 1970s and 1980s that also defined the county sheriff as the highest "legitimate" authority in the country,[3][7] and was characterized by paramilitary figures and the promotion of conspiracy theories.[3] Sheriffs are not mentioned in the U.S. Constitution.[8] The ideological basis of the sheriffs' movement is instead based on various incorrect historical and legal claims.[3] ...

This man needed a psychiatrist as much as he needed hospitalization. He thought being on a ventilator was a plot and so I'm sure his friends also think that he was murdered.

'his followers reacted to his death by boosting conspiracies about how he "really" died, including claims that he was poisoned or "killed with a heart attack." '

Hadn't seen this before I posted. I'm, like, psychic.

Given this, I'm sure that his followers have also made the decision to stay at home when they get sick, preferring to be killed by the hoax than by their doctor.

God killed this man for spreading lies denying the awesomeness of creation and the science that binds it. These types are dropping like flies.

Talk about an embarrassing way to die. You spend your days ranting and railing against vaccines and masks, and grow hoarse arguing that Covid is just a liberal hoax to make Trump look bad, - then you get sick from Covid and die from it. Congratulations. You have just become the poster boy for stupid people everywhere. And the fact that you are now DEAD only makes it more cringe worthy.

I'd gladly lift a toast every time I read of another one of these liars who put the health of others at risk paying the ultimate price for their ignorance if not for the fact I'd have alcohol poisoning within the first hour based on the current rate they are dying off.

He knew what he was doing. That doesn't mean he wasn't mentally ill. Might mean he was crazy and evil at the some time. COVID killed him before horse paste could. He got off easy.

It's not surprising how many of these far-right hate groups bear such similarities, and come from common roots. There's a reason these racially or ethnically motivated far right extremists are our greatest national security threat.

The 4 stages of COVID denial:

1. It's a hoax.

2. Don't be a sheep.

3. Prayers needed.

4. Visit our GoFundMe.

All too often these sh*tstains repent for their lies and backtrack on their conspiracy theories.

It's refreshing to see someone dying from COVID still holding onto the lie that it's a hoax.

Bravo.

Today's U.S. COVID vaccination rate is 53%. 62.4% with at least 1 dose. Getting a little better each day. That comes from ourworldindata.org I'm not sure if they adjust the total population for the antivaxxers, antimaskers, deniers and hoaxers dying off daily.

They're the same people who say, "They couldn't say it if it wasn't true"

Or

"They couldn't put it on the internet if it wasn't true"

You know the type.

The same type who say "Russian propaganda on Facebook didn't influence enough voters to matter."

You know, Republicans. And Independents. And Libertarians.

Oh my I forgot the Greens. Whose candidate was actually bankrolled by Putin.

But that had no impact on her getting votes. According to Republicans, Libertarians, Independents, and Greens.
