Why do Texas GQP'ers hate America so much?

#2 | Posted by a_monson at 2021-09-07 02:45 PM | Reply

They don't hate America silly

They just hate your version of it

In essence, the GQPedos hate you for how you exercise your freedom

In other words, they hate you for your freedom. Just like the other terries.

Why don't they just pass the "White, land owning men" law which states only white, land owning men can vote.

Just like the founding fathers wanted!

Republicans propose offering a $10,000 bounty for anyone tattles on a Black person for voting.

This, and the abortion law. reek of desperation in a red state soon going back to being blue again. There will be consequences at the polls, no matter how they try to (actually) rig the elections.

Everyone who died at the alamo ELECTED to be there.

Texas has strayed far from their founders ways.

#8 | Posted by Tor at 2021-09-07 03:25 PM | Reply

Well at the rate they are killing the unvaxxed it may be enough to turn Texas... You would think at some point they would think about these things but then again nevermind it's Texas - he'd have to kill over a million.

And recent information I have read about amounts to they were idiots who were cornered there (plenty of advanced warning and were just caught). And to top it off they didn't all die in battle, a bunch of them were executed after surrendering.

If that doesn't sound like Texans today...

They're all -----------. Which is why they'll avoid this thread. And why most of them avoid this website anymore. When you live in utter --------, you can't interact with the outside world without having your -------- pointed out. So they just stick to facebook and breitbart.

Why does the GQP hate using the power of government to help folks yet revels in using that power to bludgeon those they dislike?

So now I guess I have to root for (shudder) Tom Brady?

#15 | Posted by phesterOBoyle

Why do you assume it's nonsense? Your party just did something equally as nonsensical and ridiculous in real life?

Which Jakester thought made him a Classical Liberal

"link or STFU with that nonsense."

Really Phester, this is fairly old news now. It isn't questionable in any way. Where have you been? Your post really does make you look disconnected and stupid.

Reasonable restrictions, so of course lefties [potential cheaters] would hate that.

"It isn't questionable in any way. "

So sayeth the person who calls everyone a Nazi with whom she disagrees.

And yes, it is questionable. I have never seen nor heard "Republicans propose offering a $10,000 bounty for anyone tattles on a Black person for voting." How you can say that isn't questionable just underscores your bizarre concept of reality, like everyone being Nazis.

I remember you once accusing me of being on drugs because I said something with which you disagreed. That was funny coming from someone who says this kind of crap.

They'd be reasonable if there had been any problems under the old rules.

Were there?

A year ago, you'd have argued republicans will never put bounties on the heads of people who drive women get abortions, but here we are. There is no bottom for your party. There is no paranoid theory that is too "ridiculous" when your whole cult is ridiculous.

Five lawsuits already filed.
One cites all the GOP officials that verified there was no fraud in the last election, and that it was secure.
There's only one reason for this law; to keep "those people" from voting.
"Those people" meaning anyone that's brown, black, works late shifts, works multiple jobs, can't be trusted to vote Republican.

This in a state where the GOP won overwhelmingly and Trump won decisively.

There is absolutely no legitimate reason for this law to exist.

The South has never favored democracy. They favor(ed) a feudal (authoritarian) model. They don't trust "the masses" (or women, or non-white men) to make responsible decisions. All decisions are to be made by and for the benefit of the (white) ruling elite.

Chattel slavery allowed it to work (and prosper) in the 17th and 18th centuries, but the ending of legal slavery was catastrophic to their world. They have been trying to get back as close to it as they possibly can with wage slavery ever since.

They will never truly support democracy, even when they say they will (kinda like the Taliban).

Danni every sane and sensible person here knows there is no bounty for reporting black voters.
Perpetuating that lie makes you look deranged.

Abbot's up to 50% disapproval, down to 41% approval, and a record low 9% undecided with 52% of Texans believing the state is going in the wrong direction.

Can I get an alright alright alright for our next governor?
