Take-away from reading this self-indulgent whinging recitation of his own interpretation of his resignation letter?
Boghossian got slapped with a false charge by a student of a Federal violation in 2007.
Boghossian was investigated.
Investigation showed Boghossian had some issues and needed coaching.
Boghossian was pissed off that he never found out who made the charge and that nobody apologized to him over it.
Boghossian, instead of taking the coaching to heart, wrote a "f**k YOU" fake study, submitted it for review, then revealed he did it to get back at everyone he blamed (which was everyone in the entire University) for him being told he needs to work on a few things.
Boghossian sounds like he needed to be taken down a notch. Instead he got to continue on. That's right, the "intolerant illiberal" University didn't do anything other than let him teach.
Then he quit, writing a screed blaming the University for something that happened 4 years ago. He didn't provide anything evidentiary otherwise, and given what he teaches, he surely had the mental facilities and the skills to do so. Why?
His self aggrandizement reeks of Aristotle Complex, sans any reason for it. He screams out over his perceived victimhood.
Verification may be found in reading the disturbing comments from readers - which I quit reading shortly after I started because they were filled up by MAGAts and poor aggrieved white people rallying behind this guy. All those comments did was confirm he's more of a problem than an educator.
The University benefits by Boghossian's departure.
