Paul Ryan is a worthless turd. As far as Trump doing 'damage', that is laughable given Biden's start to his term with failures in everything the guy has touched. Trump's first 3 years brought the US back to greatness but he has undone by the Chinese pandemic and in which liberal governors knowing killed their old people and sacrificed their own economies to 'get Trump'. The MSM used its constant drumbeat to pin the virus on Trump and gave people false hope that Biden would get the situation under control.

What we have now are conditions for an utter wipe-out for the Dems in the midterm elections. And this has nothing to do with a return of the RINO policies of Ryan or Twit Romney - it is a reflection of more of the country backing Trump's policies. Regardless of your thoughts about him as a person - his policies made the country stronger and people richer. The midterms will the test of this, I like the GOP odds.

War was already over. Being unprepared for the speed of the collapse leaving behind $80B in equipment and hundreds of Americans while allowing 13 service members to be killed and then droning a bunch of kids is his legacy.

Vaccinated against the delta, lambda, and mu strains he let into the country. Nope, not a success. He was successful in dividing the nation though. I should have put that on the list. Also, I could make a pretty long list of the ways he helped China and Russia since being elected.

War was never officially declared. But the military presence was still a reality. Biden ended that reality and will ultimately be praised for it in the long run.

Also, I could make a pretty long list of the ways he helped China and Russia since being elected.

I would have liked to see Biden use commonsense and evacuate the civilians before pulling out the military and closing Bagram where we had full control of the flight schedule and facilities. That is what a thinking person would have done - which is above Biden's capabilities. This is probably the result of the useless CIA and military leadership lying to itself about the capabilities of the ANA.

As to the Kurds - again, it is the 'Trump will do' fear that had liberals wetting their panties that never came to pass. How many Kurds were genocided by our Turkish allies when Trump showed commonsense and leadership in getting our troops the hell out of the Syrian civil war? Please provide a number.

Give the man some credit.

He also made sure if he lost the election, the actual bitter end would be someone else's problem.

Oh, and Trump also wouldn't allow Biden's people to work with DOD between November and January 20. Do you think that helped make the withdrawal better?

What Biden needed to do was set a deadline for US civilians to be out of the country well in advance of the US military. Instead, because he is a geriatric moron, he shuttered Bargram, pulled out our troops, and then turned over the job of evacuating US civilians to the ANA and Taliban. You could not make that more incompetent if you tried.

Remember the old joke about the "Iraqi AK-47 deals" - never been shot and only dropped once. Well, the ANA weapons were never fired, never dropped, and still packed in grease. And dumbass Biden left them all for the Taliban to get and likely sell to our enemies to raise cash for global jihad. Great job dumbass!

"The absence of U.S. logistical support will lead to a steady decay in the state of the residual Afghan military arsenal. Even small arms will gradually become unusable if not properly maintained. MRAPs are real gas-guzzlers, so their value in a country where fuel supplies are scarce and terrorist attacks have largely ceased is doubtful."

Perhaps he finally did get frightened by Trump, and that is good but he should have been frightened far sooner by the Republican attempts to kill democracy. F Paul Ryan! Note that the military equipment which was 'left behind' in Afghanistan was already in the 'deal' that Trump signed with the Taliban. What was not in the deal was that the original plan was that this equipment would remain in the hands of the Afghan military, but when it became apparent that there wasn't going to be any organized Afghan military, as the American troops left Kabul airport and as they left the surrounding areas, they 'demilitarized' as much of that equipment as they could (a grenade tossed into the engine compartment of a Blackhawk helicopter can do wonders) to the shock and outrage of the Taliban who had expected that the Americans were going to leave everything in full working order for the Afghan military. Those helicopters and such that has been reported to have been seen in service and being driven/flown by Taliban fighters, these were the items seized from the Afghan military, however, without spares or the highly skilled mechanics needed to keep them operational, this military gear will soon be so much debris dotting the landscape.
