"Her announcement was sent to fellow senators after a judge on Thursday pressed a Senate attorney to tell him when the "final" report would be available.

The audit began in late April; counting and other work concluded at Veterans Memorial Coliseum and the state fairgrounds in late July. But the results of the unprecedented partisan recount have yet to be disclosed.

Also yet to be released are documents in possession of Cyber Ninjas and other contractors. The Senate fought all the way to the Arizona Supreme Court to try to keep those documents secret, losing that battle this week."

Cyber Ninnies, more like.

Here's hoping the arrests begin later that day.

Whatever their results, they will be torn apart, starting immediately and by millions.

In the end, only those who have always been Trump fanatics will be impressed, and they can't possibly get any angrier than they are.

Here is comes. Many are getting excited out there in the Copper State. Among the exciteds are state pols, who are hoping against hope that the lies to be presented will not appear as comical as they will. The beginning of the end of many political careers will start on September 24. Voters on the left will use this charade as further reason to vote out GOP candidates, and some on the right will be so humiliated at the antics of their elected representatives that GOP candidates will be primaried from the center, not the far right.

I'll wager on the following:
-the State Senate will attempt to go into some sort of closed-door, secret executive session where the results can then be kept under wraps
-publication of a report for the general public (pronounced: Arizona voters) will be delayed as long as possible (despite what has been promised) and that report will be so heavily redacted it will make the Mueller Report read like a graphic novel

Tune in for the comedy gold, on the 24th. CNN will carry the event live and Fax News will have a baking competition...

I agree entirely. If that report actually sees the light of day on 09/24 I'll be shocked. I think they know that they're holding a sack full of turds.

ZED-if the report even comes OUT on the 24th I will be shocked.

It's win win for Cyber Ninjas and Trumpers.

Cyber Ninjas probably made tons of money and the results and subsequent backlash will only affirm in their minds that they're right.

We're dealing with mental illness here. Addressing it rationally won't ever work.

I think they know that they're holding a sack full of turds.

Those driving this always knew that. In their minds it's how do they present the sack of turds to keep the mouth breathers moving in the direction they wanted.

In the end this was nothing more than a theatrical sacrificing of more of our democratic norms.

LOL

Dropping the news on a Friday afternoon. That tells me they're anticipating something big to squirm out of this festering orifice they refer to as an audit.

Another update on the long playing saga of the so-called 'audit' of the ballots cast in Maricopa County Arizona during the 2020 election. It seems that despite the fact that several Arizona courts, along with the State Supreme Court, have ruled that the individuals running the 'Cyber Ninja' company, and their subcontractors, must release all of the communications between them and the Republican members of the Arizona state Senate, that they're NOT going to comply with the court orders. They appear to be saying that they don't recognize the authority of the courts and even if taxpayer money was used to pay for a portion of the 'audit', that they will not make any of the documents public, which is what the courts have ordered.

I can't help but think that if there had been anything found during this 'audit' that we would have already heard about it, months ago. And perhaps the 'problem' is that if the public sees what sort of conversations took place between the various parties involved, that it will become evident that there was nothing there from the get go, and this entire effort has been nothing more than a moneymaking scheme for some of the people involved. That the Republican members of the state Senate were sold a bill-of-goods by some people playing to their preconceived notion of what they would find, and that they've been dragging this thing out for as long as they have simply because there was nothing there to find.

Anyway, it's going to be interesting to see what comes of all this over the next couple of weeks.

What a wonderful coincidence!

The authorities have told the Cyber Nunchucks they'll have to account for their actions in court. This will just add to the charges.

Stock up on popcorn.

Yeah, truth always seems to be a problem for the Republicans.
