A United States military investigation into a deadly Kabul drone strike in August has found that it killed 10 civilians and the driver and the vehicle targeted was likely not a threat associated with ISIS-K, Gen. Frank McKenzie, the top general of US Central Command, announced at the Pentagon on Friday.

Yet Julian Assange will rot in prison for attempting to whistle blow the gawd awful business of remote controlled killings.

When murder becomes just a video game it's a lot easier to pull the trigger.

Wonder how many future terrorists they created with this blunder.

People are saying Joe threw the Hellfire missile by hand while standing on the skid of Marine 1.
I don't know it it's true...

He just dug something out of his depends and threw it.

"Good thing he blew up that 2 year old. She was a serious threat to us."
This attitude is why wars like Afghanistan and Vietnam are unwinnable. People wring their hands and cry crocodile tears about an innocent person dying. In WW2, this didn't happen. If Afghanistan and Vietnam wars were fought like WW2, the US would have won.

Yes. Obviously they targeted the 2 year old and the carload of suicide bombers was just an accident.
Sheesh.

Are you still pushing your fantasy that the USAF deliberately targeted a carload of known civilians as part of their war strategy?

I particularly enjoyed the fantasy that "This attitude is why wars like Afghanistan and Vietnam are unwinnable. People wring their hands and cry crocodile tears about an innocent person dying."

It's just so... what's the word... "liberal."

From whence did the first reports of the drone attack come? Until the dust settles, I'll be calling this incident as Al-Qaeda propaganda to demonize the US.

An Exercise in Rightwing Stream of Consciousness

I don't know why everyone is so upset!! One little tragedy after 20 years of success and this has never ever ever ever ever ever ever happened before.

All those years of US soldiers passing out water bottles to thirsty war-weary civilians and winning hearts and minds... I saw pitchers of it on CNN

I swear to got... or alla whutevah... it was wuuuunderful.

This is the thanks we get for bombing them back to the middle ages as the swarthies so justly deserved for rejecting our toilets. They were "American Standards" but noooooo they wanted them Taliban-style squatters.

Damn they're such animals...

It's Biden's fault.

I like the Fox News headline:

Liberal media hammers Biden admin over botched Afghan drone strike: 'This is absolutely horrifying'

Now that's funny!

On the upside, they didn't wipe out the usual wedding party like Bushturd often did while accusing the terriers of using "human shields".

This isn't a new sort of event.

Joementia signed off on this and not Bin Laden? When are they going to 25th that senile POS?

#16 Biden signed off on what?
The senile POS got the boot Jan 20.

Biden has the lowest murdered kid count of any POTUS.

The AAR on this one is ugly. Failures of leadership, intelligence, communication, and trigger discipline all rolled up into a single missile launch.

It's the kind of botch that ends careers.

Heck of a job Joe. You showed them who's boss. Have a ways to go to catch up to Obama's death count. Obama pro-tip: Send a second drone to get the first responders.

And you are saying they decided the kids were worthwhile targets as part of the war strategy?

#23 | POSTED BY REDIAL AT 2021-09-19 10:50 AM | FLAG:

I wouldn't use the word worthwhile. They're irrelevant to US war strategy. We blow them up a lot.

Seems like a blind spot, but what do I know?

"And you are saying they decided the kids were worthwhile targets as part of the war strategy?"

We should ask Timothy McVeigh and Janet Reno for their insight on this matter.
