"Republican Governor Brad Little said he would fine businesses with over 100 employees if they enacted a mask mandate."

Has he tried to fine the Federal government yet?

How about hospitals?

A COVID nightmare is unfolding in Idaho, where overwhelmed hospitals are starting to ration care and medical workers feel like the public has turned on them. www.buzzfeednews.com

Led by their GOP governor, the GOP public has turned on them.

"his challenger, Lt. Gov. Janice McGeachin"

Gov vs Lt Gov?

Party unity is over in the GOP.

Death Santis has threatened the same thing but many Florida counties and businesses have challenged him in court. F DeathSantis, F Brad Little. Public health is far more important than their attempts to kiss Trump's ass. This is a sickness in America which requires ignoring your own health in order to please Orange Hitler, who was vaccinated back in December. I honestly don't understand how his followers still follow when they understant that simple fact.....HE'S VACCINATED! HAS BEEN SINCE DECEMBER! Don't any of you Trump idiots understand that?

Speaking of malfeasance,
This is a pretty good look at how Florida continues to fudge the numbers of COVID deaths in Florida:

"A COVID nightmare is unfolding in Idaho"

Nightmare?
All this freedom is a nightmare?
Only a lib^H^H^H progressive would be so clueless to think mass death from COVID is a nightmare!

This is all fueled by Trump's lies that TrumpVirus isn't dangerous.

That masks are unnecessary.

That vaccines are full of microchips.

And yet these idiots are offended when called idiots, stupid, deplorable ect ect.

They repeatedly show they've earned every single one of those descriptors yet they somehow still think they deserve respect.

Pure capitalism...you have to admire it's casual cruelty. Human beings don't matter, they are as important as hammers or robots. Just keep the money flowing to the big boys...

If they don't "get it" by now, they don't want to get it. They deserve it all.

The GQP is a death cult and is fine with oppressive government regulations when it suits their agenda.

Unfortunately it won't turn Idaho even close to purple.

I just looked her up. She's a real peach too. He must not be crooked or radical enough for her taste.

Tor & Pete - She is much crazier than Brad is. He left the state for a Republican conference and left her in charge for a short time. She signed a mask mandate ban that he nixed upon return (saying it was irresponsible and self serving). She is definitely riding Trump's coattails and while Brad has not done a good job with Covid he has at least remained a moderate conservative. He has encouraged vaccines and that is probably why the base is so upset with him. He also acknowledged that "Idahoans value local control and the local approach to addressing important issues" when he got rid of her mask ban (addressing that some cities and counties have had mask mandates and he believes in their right to do so). Idaho has not had a state wide mask mandate and I guess we will see how his middle of the road approach will fair him in the election.

Was hoping to hear from someone from Idaho.

Before all the good ones die.

I guess that will depend on how willing Idahoans are to believe the big lie and how many Idahoans are willing to die for them Republican lies.

#19 | POSTED BY DONNERBOY --- I am pretty moderate and middle of the road. I don't think Little has done a terrible job and most of the people I talk to feel the same way. He hasn't really said he will run for re-election, we just assume he will. He was Lt Gov before he ran for Gov. I notice that this article is summarized incorrectly by Rein, Little is trying to find a way to prohibit businesses from being fined if they do not enforce the Osha/Biden mandate of employee vaccinations/testing for those with more than 100 EEs. Nothing about "mask mandates" at all. As for myself and many of my direct colleagues/friends- we are all fully vaccinated. I have some co-workers and local family that are firmly anti-vax. Fortunately our small community hasnt seen the large impacts other parts of Idaho has, although that has led the anti-vax to feel justified in their decision. I dread the day that people I personally know here in town die due to willful ignorance and stubbornness. I will just keep posting the science on my personal social media...

This is going to be a problem for operation rooms in Idaho.

Wouldn't bother me so much if these sickos from Idaho wouldn't be filling our hospitals in Oregon... don't they realize we have are own Trumpers choking to death unnecessarily.

Avoid the science of vaccines?...then please avoid the science of the I.C.U.rooms
