The select committee investigating the January 6 insurrection has issued its second round of subpoenas, this time targeting individuals involved in the planning and organization of the "Stop the Steal" rally that served as a prelude to the riot at the US Capitol and other rallies organized in the lead up to the day of the attack.

The subpoenas went out Wednesday to 11 individuals who were affiliated with the organization, Women for America First, which had held the permit for the rally that preceded the riot on January 6. Women for America First also held rallies in Freedom Plaza in November and December of 2020, as well as two "March for Trump" bus tours that went nationwide seeking to generate interest in the organization's Washington rallies. The requests show the committee has a particular interest in seeking what coordination the group may have had with the White House in its planning and as part of the larger Stop the Steal movement.

The list includes individuals such as Amy Kremer, who became one of the most influential figures in encouraging members of Congress to object to certifying the 2020 presidential results and in peddling conspiracy theories that helped spark violence at the Capitol on January 6. Kremer chairs Women for America First and was listed as a point of contact on the permit for the January 6 rally.

"The investigation has revealed credible evidence of your involvement in events within the scope of the Select Committee's inquiry," the subpoena states.

The Jan. 6 select committee has subpoenaed Katrina Pierson, a veteran Trump campaign operative who helped organize the Jan. 6 rally that preceded the insurrection at the Capitol.

The subpoena was one of 11 issued to organizers of the events of Jan. 5 and Jan. 6, which drew thousands of Trump supporters " including those who turned violent at the Capitol " to Washington. Targets also included top organizers Amy Kremer and Caroline Wren, as well as Maggie Mulvaney " the niece of former Trump chief of staff Mick Mulvaney " who was described in official paperwork as the "VIP Lead" for the rally.

The new round of subpoenas demands documents from the organizers by Oct. 13 and depositions between Oct. 21 and Nov. 3. The targets include organizers affiliated with a group called Women for America First, which helped lead the Jan. 6 rally at the Ellipse. The group's leaders include Kremer and Wren.

The panel specifically is asking Pierson about a reported Jan. 4 meeting she had with then-President Donald Trump at which he asked about a separate event featuring speakers like Ali Alexander and Roger Stone. Pierson reportedly informed Trump about a Jan. 5 rally organized by a group called the Eighty Percent Coalition, whose leader Cindy Chafian also received one of the 11 subpoenas.

Large Margie Three Toes has said she is not going to comply with the subpoena.

You know who doesn't comply with subpoenas? Guilty people.

DOJ should send the FBI to collect her.

Are they calling up the FBI informants who were in the crowd? Btw, it was proven, NY Times even reported it. Wonder why the press is backing off that it was a planned insurrection? Maybe because now that we know the FBI was involved the question comes up if it was planned why didn't they stop it?

That has been debunked.

Besides, it would be that easy to to trick hundreds of Trump supporters into committing federal crimes? Actually, don't bother answering that lol

The insurrection was planned by Trump, his cohorts and his supporters. They're the ones who did it after all.

LOL, that was from June 25, the NY Times article was from this week. Have your mother read it to you.

Is Fishpaw trying to say the insurrection was a false flag operation, and that the false flag was carried by Trump's own FBI to ensnare Trump's supporters?

Even if that's true, which it obviously isn't, what difference would it make?
To put it another way: If Trump's FBI was actively involved in the attempt to overthrow the government, well that just makes Trump look even more guilty.

#6 One of the FBI informants is in jail. The FBI has informants in all terrorist organizations to monitor what they are planning. Unfortunately some LEOs are infested with terrorist sympathizers. Fumigation is required.
