A leaked document has revealed the membership list of the secretive Council for National Policy (CNP), showing how it provides opportunities for elite Republicans, wealthy entrepreneurs, media proprietors and pillars of the US conservative movement to rub shoulders with anti-abortion and anti-Islamic extremists.

Anyone surprised by this revelation is a sucker.

The GQP has been catering to the fringe lunatic right wing terrorists for decades.

They had to run to a secret group to hug and schmooze their terrorist supporters.

"Proud boys stand back and stand by" says really all you need to know about what Dotard knew about the planning going on for these terrorists to overthrow 230 years of peaceful transitions of power and our Constitution.

You see why Margie Three Toes and the rest of the terrorists in the Congress are refusing to comply with legal subpoenas. You know who doesn't want to comply with a subpoena? Guilty people.

We won't straighten out this country as long as money rules politics. Money needs to be taken out of the equation.

This is one of those things where it's just going to be used as ammunition by whichever side isn't involved. The side who finds it news that rich, powerful people with similar interests and principles have their own groups are the problem, not the groups themselves. And the fact that a Liberal institution is the one calling them out for being hate groups when they don't label Liberal hate groups as hate groups is the part where this whole thing just becomes turds on the ground. I mean, Dems were already exposed for this same exact thing in their Democracy Alliance during Obama's tenure, and there was even proof shown that Obama catered to members of that group after both elections (which is what all candidates do when they win since they have to pay back those who backed them for favors).

Is it bad to have these groups? Maybe. Will it stop. Nope, both sides will always do it. The only good thing is that hopefully this will do what it did to the Dem's DA alliance, force it to be public so that more is known about their activities.

Surprise surprise... another "well, both of them do it" post from Humtake.

So, I guess you have given up on "constructive ideas" already? That took less than, what... 24 hours?

Both sides do not rub shoulders with white supremacists and religious extremists. Only your side does.

Why is that? Why do nazis and klansmen love the same leaders that you do?
