The group of teachers sent a petition to Justice Sonia Sotomayor requesting an emergency injunction to block the mandate They argue the mandate places an 'unconstitutional burden' on teachers and also 'threatens the education of thousands of children' Teachers across all public schools in the Big Apple have until 5pm Friday to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or risk losing their jobs Unlike most vaccine mandates, the rule does not allow unvaccinated employees to undergo weekly COVID-19 testing instead of getting the shot

"Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor on Friday denied an emergency appeal from a group of teachers to block New York City's COVID-19 vaccine mandate for public school teachers and other staff from going into effect."

POSTED BY BELLRINGER"

A weekly covid-19 test mandate should be required for all or for none as vaccinated people are just as likely to carry and spread covid (in some cases viral load is much, much high in the vaccinated) as the unvaccinated.

That paper clearly states that it is not peer reviewed - which is the standard the liberals enforce on this site. So, not worth the paper it is printed on.

LMAO!

You got your ass handed to you over and over again for pushing -------- ivermectin and how not a single 'study' you cited had been peer reviewed, and you think making a false equivalence is clever?

You kill people with your misinformation and lies.

New York teachers... You mean four teachers out of thousands.

There are more Jewish Eskimos then there are teachers who signed that stupid petition.

"The study was posted online Thursday and hasn't yet been peer reviewed. But scientists not associated with the research said the findings were credible."

It takes time for peer review and it will come but for someone like you to pretend that you require peer review for the things you claim here all the time is utterly laughable. You are caught in lies virtually every day, you have become a synnonym for liar.

96% of NYC schools teachers now vaccinated after mandate
abc7ny.com

...Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that 95% of full-time New York City Public School employees are vaccinated against COVID-19.

That includes 96% of teachers and 99% of principals.

"Every adult in our schools is now vaccinated," de Blasio said. "It clearly works," the mayor said of the mandate.

Schools Chancellor Misha Porter said 18,000 new shots were given out since Friday. She said unvaccinated employees can still get their shots and return to work.

"New York City schools are the safest places to be," Porter said.

"We call them our kids because they become our kids. We want to get thru this pandemic," said Michael Mulgrew, UFT President.

Some schools are reporting that 100% of their teachers are on the job....
