She sounds like another nut job female republicl0wn. The cl0wns prefer their women a brick short of a full load. Like Sarah Paloonitunez.

I thought at first it might be because U of AK and U of AZ had some sort of academic agreement where. It was easy to transfer back and forth between the two.... then I remembered Sarah graduated from U of Idaho...

Think of what repubs must be offering sinema and manchin behind the scenes. Which will be the first to switch parties?

Martha Blackwell; Susan sshhh! Collins; Virginia Fox ...
no need to reach back. now we have the new models, though, about 5 of them around the cluntry. ;)

I can't speak for Sinema's motives but Manchin might be writing his own epitaph. West Virginia is wholly behind Joe Biden's social spending agenda. Manchin has no reasonable argument that his constituents can accept. "It cost too much" falls flat on it's face.

West Virginia is a predominantly Republican state. Manchin is a Democrat. It would be easy for the GOP to get him voted out of office.

I, too, have wondered what incentives/threats the GOP has tendered to make Manchin betray the very things for which his constituents are screaming.

The people that elected her see her for what she really is...a money hoarding shill for the corporate lobbyists of big pharma and big oil. She refuses to work for the people that elected her and instead focuses on who can afford to pay her off.

She runs and hides in the bathroom when voters try to ask her questions.

Which will be the first to switch parties?

I doubt either of them will switch. There is too much power and attention in being GQP lite and caucus with the democrats. Even when the Democrats are out of power, they will still have their power to break cloture for GQP pet projects.

A green partier that moved somewhat to the center once they had actual power and responsibility.

The horror, the horror. What time is the stoning?

As it should...it's clear she's bought and paid for...

I can't quite see Sinema's calculation, since the GQP in AZ certainly isn't short on its own nutjobs waiting in line for a crack at a Senate seat. She sure is a horse's ass, though. So I guess that's some sort of qualification.

It's a shame how Liberals are the biggest bullies in this country and they prove it over and over again, and then whine and complain about needing education to stop bullying. There is no way any person can deny that what they are doing to her is nothing but bullying. It's the very definition of bullying.

"Think of what repubs must be offering sinema and manchin behind the scenes. Which will be the first to switch parties?"

More evidence that Libs lack any logic and are only emotional beings. Because anyone may think differently, that means they are sellouts or any other number of insults DR Libs will throw at people (and then whine and complain when people do it to them). To expect that any group of people that has millions of members to all have the same opinion is ignorance. When it happened with Reps during the Tea Party years, Dems were on cloud 9 and loving it. Now that it is your turn, it becomes an opportunity for you to spread more hate. It is no surprise so many of you take advantage of the situation based on historic comments. If you can spread hate and bigotry because of your opinions, you surely will.

Hey, at least it shows who has the capacity to be objective and who doesn't so we don't have to guess.

If you can't handle being bullied, it's because you're a beta.

And, according conservatives, when you punish people for their bad decisions, it encourages them to make better decisions.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Now go get your shine box.

Yeah it's bullying to make public servants answer to the public instead of hiding in the bathroom, while they're preventing hundreds of millions of people from improving their lives and keeping things stuck in a miserable status quo.

Just leave her alone and let her ruin your lives in peace!

Half of Arizona is Republican. Half is Democrat. The half that is Democrat is mostly progressive, not 'moderate'. She can try to play the role of 'maverick', but she will need a good deal of GOP support to pull it off.

#13. The democrats in Az are hardly progressive. Any democrat here would be called a republican in Vermont.
For Sinema's time in the House she quietly did a decent job for all her constituents. You folks never heard of her.
Now because of her centrism there is quite a fuss.
Joe Biden is a centrist, Sanders was not elected president.
Though he probably can't say it but I'm sure he appreciates what she's done.
Heard some fellow mention some of these thoughts on NPR. Which is hardly progressive in Az.

A wine drinking trialthalon running bisexual isn't going to think like most people.

Even in Arizona.

That's the problem 0.

People didn't actually look at who she was they looked at what she was and since she was a fashionable "minority" they decided to vote for her.
