Hmmmm let's start placing bets.

I'm gonna go with average Joe barely scraping by who thinks Trump won, COVID is a hoax to increase control, 'Murica! is a Chreestian nation and QAnon is real.

The sub-headline of the cited article...

...Police said the suspect, Dale Paul Melvin, 55, of Kimball, Michigan, said the "time for talking is done" before officers removed him from the vehicle....
[emphasis mine]

Another tourist?

I wonder how much time Dale Paul Melvin spends on social media on a daily basis. Because I do not think a normal rational person gets that revved up unless it is social media that is revving them up to begin with.

Responsible social media use requires tools that at least half of the population doesn't possess.

Here's his FB account.

Suspect it will disappear shortly.

After checking out his FB account, I feel sorry for this guy. He is just another dangerous loser. I've represent 1000 guys like this one. Hopefully he will be ordered into some form of ongoing psych counseling and anger control classes, as well as placed on appropriate psych meds. He would be a happier person and we would be a safer society if he gets treated, not just punished.

What made the vehicle sus?

He illegally parked his vehicle and it sounds like police approached him promptly and he refused to speak with them.

If that is the case that is a big red flag situation.

Kimball, Michigan - that's still militia land out there.

Facebook's own research says Facebook incites violence... Go watch Frances Haugen's interview on 60 Minutes or see her testimony.

I was on facebook for about 5 or 6 years. Quit in 2015.
I just couldn't stand the daily emotions it would evoke - you have 'fear of missing out' which leads to checking it a dozen times a day, then there's the vanity - making a post, rechecking for 'likes' - they've proven that getting 'likes' fires off endorphins and all kinds of goo in your brain. Then of course the voyeuristic angle. Getting 'friended' by someone you haven't seen in 15 years just so they can do a drive-by viewing on your life.
And finally the clincher: let's just call it the 'Crazy Uncle'. You know what I'm referring to.
Having your morning coffee and perusing this buffet of ---- just stopped interesting me.

I know a lot of people have some of those feelings, but not enough to break the habit.

I regret having dropped out of touch with some people, but...

Angry MAGAt is just mad he couldn't get his disability claim arrested. Who is going to ruin Thanksgiving for his family now? Do they have another racist uncle to invite?

"He illegally parked his vehicle and it sounds like police approached him promptly and he refused to speak with them."

He mumbled a something like, "The time for talking is over!"

So they tossed in a flash bang and yanked his maga butt out of the truck and told him yup time for talk is over and now he has the right to remain silent as long as he wanted.
