Marc Caputo: Donald Trump never wastes an opportunity to attack Georgia's top statewide Republican officeholders for failing to help him overturn the 2020 election results in the key swing state. -- Brad Raffensperger is the only one who refuses to shut up and take it.

I'm guessing Raffensperger's polling number aren't looking so hot. He must be hoping to pick up some moderate and cross-over Dems in the GQP primary.

Party of Law and Order doesn't think the laws actually apply to Trump.

And if he doesn't win the GQP primary, he should run as an independent. If he doesn't win as an independent, his presence in the race would improve the chances that a dem would win and would infuriate the republicans that rejected him.

In any event, his political future as a republican is toast. If the republican party rejects him, he should "burn it (the GQP) down" on the way out the door.

A year ago Brad was just some guy. Now, to many he is worse than Satan. The really shameful part of the Right kowtowing to their moneyed orange headless god is that nearly every never-Trumper has either gone over to the dark side, or is leaving office, still with their collective mouths shut about what has happened to their political party. Take Rob Portman, for instance. He was a solid conservative with a long pedigree, from a state that spawned many true conservatives. Rob avoided the 2016 debacle in Cleveland, and while he didn't go all-in for Der Dotard hasn't opened his mouth in objection, even after announcing his retirement. Portman will leave his office and it will then be occupied by one of a batch of boot-licking Trump lackeys, unless they are struck by lightning or Ohio Dems recognize that they can take the seat and have it occupied by some sane person...
