So....alleviating the supply chain issues at the port of LA will make things worse?

Another Biden disaster. And yes if this happened under Trump it would have been his disaster as well.

So....then it's not really a "Biden disaster" is it?

This issue has been decades in the making. Corporate America is to blame for it. Pushing manufacturing to third world sweatshops, cutting wages and payments to truckers to the bare minimum and cutting inventories to the absolute minimum all in the name of pleasing wall street billionaires.

Every single congress critter and administration since the 1980's is to blame for this. In exchange for their bribes they allowed this to happen and actually encouraged it through the income tax code.

And yes, the American consumer is as much to blame for this by demanding cheap ass TV's etc.

Once on the ground, the most efficient manner in which to move freight long distance is by train. The ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach are attached to under-sized and inadequate rail systems. Trucks can do only so much. Remember Biden's infrastructure bill? it includes funds for the expansion and modernization of rail systems to/from major harbors. The fix will take years but passing the infrastructure bill will start that fix. Pass the bill...

Bushturd2 thought it was more prudent to invest7 trillion dollars in two wars to nowhere than infrastructure... remember Katrina? He pulled the plug on an upgrade to the levys.

Followed by 8 years of obstructionism.

Trumptidumped gets the blame for buying into the "trickledown republicl0wnery" and giving the corporate bigs another tax break.

Republicl0wns get the blame for selling out local manufacturing because "environmental regulations and unions" were "crushing their business".

GFY on this one to all right-wingers. Your stupidity coming home to roost.

You broke it you own it.

Biden's fault, obviously.
...
More to the point, stop buying Walmart shizz made in China.
In fact, STOP BUYING ANYTHING FROM CHINA and this will solve several issues at once.

Depends JPW, if Trump was in office would you have blamed this on him? I would assume so since one time you spilled your mac and cheese heading down your Mom's basement and you said it was Trump's fault. Just trying to be consistent here.

I worked in trucking for a decade and their were always those whining they couldn't find drivers. Of course these were operations that had over 100% turnover annually....that's not a driver problem...that's a management problem.
I know plenty of people with CDL's that don't drive anymore because of low wages and poor treatment.
There's not a driver shortage in trucking there's a wage shortage.

Why do righties always have to go to the well of stupid, lame insults?

In any case, no, I wouldn't have blamed Trump for a global issue caused by a global pandemic.

The only think I would have judged Trump for was how he responded to it.

Biden did so by working out a deal with several major retailers and freight companies to increase the pace of offloading and moving shipments out of port and into transit.

Will it work? I don't know but it's better than sitting on your gold plated ------- tweeting insults.

"Just in time" inventory models were discovered in the 1970's, as a neat way to streamline manufacturing processes. Also, always look for the cheapest way to do everything. Labor, plant, materials...everything. Now we reap what was sowed.

"GFY on this one to all right-wingers. Your stupidity coming home to roost.

Can't be made at you on this one, your leaders have been able to mentally control you for a while so your reactions are just instinct now. Biden is the POTUS right now, it's his problem. Dems have, and there is AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMPLE evidence of this happening on both sides so any argument you make is completely invalid, stuck to the rhetoric that everything that happens during a POTUS's tenure is his fault. I know, I know...Dems counter this by saying "No, that only applies to Reps" but the intelligent people left in this country can smell a hypocrocodile and their tears from a mile away.

"Why do righties always have to go to the well of stupid, lame insults?"

Seriously, much of the stuff I respond to on this site is DIRECTLY because someone who doesn't fall in line with the Liberal mentalities makes a comment and Liberals start bashing that person, calling them names, insulting their intelligence, etc. That's one of my MOs on this site. So you are completely off-base and hypocritical AGAIN. Yes, they do go to the well of stupid, lame insults. But since Libs do that on this site every day, multiple times a day...what's your problem? If it's such a bad thing, why don't you call out Libs for it too? I mean, something so so so so so so simple to prove just can't be that hard for you to comprehend, can it?
