This is BS on Katie's part. Secondly NY Post is banned from here? It isn't that bad. Not like stormfront trash.

"According to the Daily Mail, Couric writes that she thought Ginsburg, who was 83 at the time, was "elderly and probably didn't fully understand the question."

RBG was a Supreme Court Justice for another 4 YEARS after this interview in which bobble head Couric concluded RBG was too stupid to understand a question about kneeling. So, Couric thought RBG was Biden-level brain dead at age 83, unable to express a coherent response to the simple question of kneeling, but was a-okay with her presiding over complex issues of law at the highest level of the US government?

The amount of mental gymnastics to be a Leftist is mind-boggling.

During the interview, Ginsburg reportedly said that people who kneel during the national anthem are showing "contempt for a government that has made it possible for their parents and grandparents to live a decent life"

Isn't that what every Trumper thinks?
LOL

I think that is immaterial - the true story is the press thinking this aged, skinsuit was too stupid to understand a simple question at age 83 but had no worries about her serving on the higher judicial body in the country for another 4 years is the story.

"the true story is the press"

The Press reveals themselves as Enemies of the American People, right?

Hard to draw another conclusion when they promote the 'Notorious RBG' meme 4 years after the point that they deemed her mentally unfit to comment on the concept of kneeling. Given her office contracted bobbleheaded Couric and asked them to edit the interview indicates the people operating the 'Weekend at Bernies' levers to animate RBG seemed to agree with Couric.

Yet, there she sat for another 4 years 'writing' legal opinions.

You think this should engender respect for the MSM?

Following the interview, Couric said the head of public affairs for the Supreme Court emailed and asked that Ginsburg's comments be removed from the story, as she had "misspoken," the Daily Mail reported.

Interesting that the public affairs office reached out after the interview- I wonder how often that occurs when the justices make public appearances.

final piece does include Ginsburg's comments that the gesture is "dumb and disrespectful,"

While a truncated version of RBG's opinion on the matter, I remember that being very big news when the interview was published

Probably every time they "misspeak."
