Seems to me that used to be the norm.

Not headline news.

But today folks acting reasonably and rationally surprises us so much it makes the front page news.

Sad face.

This summary from Fox Business news conveniently leaves off what Delta has done. New hires must be vaccinated. Some requirements for testing and PPE, AND a 200 per month surcharge on health insurance if not able to show proof of vaccination. Looks like hitting them in the pocketbook is effective.
Perhaps other companies and the government could use that as a stick instead of a mandate.

#3 - Delta also required weekey testing for those that aren't vaccinated and they have to wear masks at all times. www.ajc.com

United is kicking Delta's ass in percent vaccinated, though - 99%!, and American Airlines has some employees that are fighting to stay unvaccinated. The vaccination rate from American Airlines trying to be "nice" about it didn't work and too many of their pilots are acting like children. Now AA has resorted to mandating vaccination. Of course several employees made the news by throwing temper-tantrums.

Delta is charging employees who won't get the vaccine an extra $200 a month for their health insurance.

Do Ted Cruz and all the other right-wingers kvelling about Delta support raising the insurance costs of non-vaxxers by $2,400 a year?

Unfortunately Delta travel sucks and we quite utilizing them years ago, having nothing to do with COVID stats.

"Unfortunately Delta travel sucks and we quite utilizing them years ago, having nothing to do with COVID stats."

Whaaaaat???

Delta is my go-to airline, and I travel a LOT.

Airline travel sucks, period. But I've found Delta to be superior to both AA and UA.

Who do you fly with?

This Delta Million-Miler is glad to hear of this news.

Here in Okiehomie Delta recently opened more gates at Will Rogers "World" Airport (one of two local airports named after guys who died in an airplane crash) and I like flying on Delta. Alaska is good (free beer between Portland and Seattle), American is OK, Southwest like taking the bus at rush hour, and UAL is the worst...

It seems that the most effective way to pressure anti-vaxxers to get vaccinated is by hitting them in the wallet.

Have you ever flown RyanAir?

It's like riding in a schoolbus, but it's quick and you can get direct flights into all the fun places.

And it's cheap as hell.

Maybe.
But only American and United have direct flights to the World Trade Center.
