one of the best two min rants ever!

"And I think it's funny that it's happening at the same time as thousands of conservatives are leaving THEIR jobs because of THEIR inalienable rights to cough the Plague on your Grandma.

That's right. Apparently if you leave your job because you are tired of being a faceless cog in an inherently disrespectful machine that refuses to acknowledge your worth as a human being, that makes you lazy and entitled.

But if you leave your job because you refuse to take even the most basic precautions in the middle of the greatest global health crises that any of us have ever known, then that makes you a Patriot and a Freedom Fighter."

I like this one:

So, in Scandinavia and Europe, while working for US fast food outlets, Citizens enjoy better pay, shorter hours and better conditions than Americans working for the same corporations in the USA, that claim to be unable to afford the same in the USA? Yet these corporations continue to expand in Scandinavia and Europe? I wonder why Scandinavians and Europeans continue to either shake their heads in disbelief or laugh?! Remind Me again about number one, best ------ in the world!

Leaving your job is one thing. Choosing not to work because rich people should pay your bills is quite another.

You're chosen demographic leaves their jobs because they and you have determined that, by the virtue of the fact that they draw breath, someone should support them.

Maybe those who choose to quite due to the vax feel that way as well. More likely they just go get a job that doesn't require a vaccine.

So full of crap all of the time. I don't know anyone who expects rich people to pay their bills but you do. They're the tax payers paying your salary for pretending to work.

- Choosing not to work because rich people should pay your bills

The percentage of people who "chose" to live in the abject poverty of welfare shouldn't worry your pretty little head.

It's about the same percent that FL found using drugs on welfare, less than 3 percent, or about the same number of "Black Welfare Queens driving Cadillacs, which was even much less.

As you can tell, your myths proceed you.

No surprise Mad falls back on debunked tropes.

For months we heard righties squawk about how people won't work because benefits were too good. Many countered that there was more to it and that they were, as usual when it comes to economics, abysmally wrong.

Reality turned out to show that they were, in fact, abysmally wrong but yet they persist in their -------- worldview as if it's got any semblance of accuracy.

It also shows that most of their "market forces" arguments were simply expressions of their disdain for those they feel are inferior but were veiled behind supposed economics because they know somewhere in their minds that they're ------- opinions that have more to do with floating their egos than accurately assessing reality.

I already reconciled the math on this one a week back - more than 33% of the welfare queens decided to keep smoking weed and opted out of taking the benefits which required the test. So, the 3% rate is just fake news.

How in the world can you claim to support freedom while also supporting the War on Drug Users?

That's an odd statement?

Why do you think I (or anyone else for that matter) would view someone as inferior because they don't make much money.

Virtually all of us start our adult lives poor.

My first full-time job was as an enlisted sailor in the Navy. I was paid $246 ($451 in 2021$) every two weeks. In the four years I was on active duty, I never broke $1k per month.

When I got out, I went to work installing cabinets for $250 per week. I thought I was rich. I could afford an apartment, a car, cable TV, and still have money left over for beer.

Now that amount wouldn't even cover my car payments.

I don't think he's saying that people shouldn't be allowed to smoke weed, but rather that by choosing to smoke weed you forfeit your rights to benefits.

It's almost like argument for the vaccine mandate.

#14 | Posted by madbomber at 2021-10-21 04:08 AM | Reply

Yes, because if you smoke weed innocent people around you will get high and die. You're an idiot.

Yeah, all less than 3 percent who do that. You know, when you think it's 90 percent rather than the insignificant amount it actually is.

And that because the facts don't fit the myths you propagate to yourself and others.
