Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Wednesday, October 20, 2021

Roughly 24 hours after the death of Colin Powell, Donald Trump proved, again, that he is utterly incapable of empathy, grace or even common decency. "Wonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big mistakes on Iraq and famously, so-called weapons of mass destruction, be treated in death so beautifully by the Fake News Media," Trump said in a statement released Tuesday morning. "Hope that happens to me someday. He was a classic RINO, if even that, always being the first to attack other Republicans. He made plenty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace!"

That trump is rude and stupid is not news and since he's no longer in office his statements when not made under oath are worthless.

Here's hoping for tomorrow.

This is one of the numerous reasons I am so glad Trump is gone. Dancing and spitting on graves used to be something that was exclusive to the left. Not any more.

Okay, just a word or two or three:
1. Brush up on your grasp of history and human behaviors
2. Werk on those critical thinking skills
3. Rinse and repeat

What a petty pathetic human being Trump truly is.

There are certain graves that need to be danced upon-- Powell's and, someday, Trump's.

#6 he's such a small man that he can't stand for anyone else to be spoken highly off.

Another example of Fat Donnie Fail being a ------- -------. No surprise there.

I have such mixed feelings about Powell. I admired him as I learned about him as Reagan's nation security advisor and the as JCS Chair. His management of the military during the Gulf War was superb. Subsequent to the 2003 UN address, I was left wondering if he was part of the cabal, genuinely duped or just naive. Ironically, Trump excoriating him after his passing, made my mind up. Powell was a great man and a small man figuratively pissing on his grave reminded me of that.

Trump has no bottom. The man is a walking sewer letting us smell what society considers "success".

Der Dotard will be the first US President to be buried in an undisclosed location...

So why do you spend all day every day spreading his propaganda and attacking his enemies for him?

Trump has serious mental problems.

'Nuff said.

"Trump excoriating him after his passing, made my mind up"

LOL, you are just as bad as those Trump cultists who purposely say and do the exact opposite of what "the libs" say or do. If Trump says something that (heaven forbid) might be somewhat accurate or true, you become irrational and automatically decide that you must believe the opposite. True derangement.

Powell was not a great man. He deserves to be excoriated. He was an MIC dupe. His legacy will be that he was a weak man who allowed himself to be used in order to jumpstart a war where an entire country was needlessly destroyed and hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions were killed, injured, and forever psychologically damaged.

To sum up, screw Trump and screw Colin Powell.

Nobody with a double digit IQ should have believed the WMD lies.

SCUDs hidden in caves? None in the media consulted a geologist or even Google to find the only caves are in the mountains then controlled by the Kurds.

Enriching uranium? It takes a lot of electric power to spin those centrifuges. The US needed two full scale power plants (Ohio Valley Electric Company) to power one enrichment plant. Iraq couldn't keep the lights on and large scale generation activity would have been obvious.

The other claims were just as absurd.

Why are Americans and their media so stupid?

"Why are Americans and their media so stupid?"
If you are a hammer you see everything as a nail.

After 9/11 there was an instant desire to attack something. The news media pushed for war. They wanted the war to be televised.

The problem is he's not gone.

And the vast majority of your party want him back in office. Something I'm sure you'll claim to be against but will vote for when it comes time to put your money where your mouth is.

Or have a grave site guarded day and night to avoid it being vandalized on a near constant basis.

I know I'd at least spit on it. Piss on it if I could.

Republic0wn's made crass remarks about McCain's service to get Bushturd2 into office.
They skewered Kerry to keep Bushturd2 in office.
Bushturd2 used his "senator's son" status to avoid Vietnam... Al Gore did not.
It's what frat brats do.
Trumptidumbo speaks truth to republic0wn action regarding the military.

Nevertheless, the military is the republicl0wn's favorite bunch of "tools".
