Donald Trump has long seemed to offer conflicting financial pictures to the U.S. and U.K. when it comes to his Scottish golf courses. A judge might be able to offer new insight.

The man was a disaster as POTUS and wants to be POTUS again.

But according to people like Sentinel we shouldn't pay attention to him whatsoever.

It's rather odd.

You're clueless, Johnny. Nobody gives two ----- about any politician's golf finances. The inability to keep their eye on the ball is one of the biggest reasons Trump's loudest critics have been so ineffectual at taking him down.

The Lords of Scotland certainly have a right to know if their country is being used as part of a money laundering scheme. The fact that Scotland's leader, Nicola Sturgeon, is dodging her responsibility to use the legal tools at her disposal to uncover the facts behind "unexplained wealth" might give cause to ask "What was in it for her?"

It's a fact that Trump has a habit of corrupting everybody in his orbit.

FTA

Another can of worms . . . .

"An unexplained wealth order could have far-reaching implications back in the United States. Any documents turned over to the Scottish government could make their way to Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. and New York Attorney General Letitia James, who are running a joint investigation into alleged tax dodging and other financial crimes at the Trump Organization.

"Nobody gives two ----- about any politician's golf finances."

On the contrary. Everyone who honestly pays their taxes wants the government to go after tax cheats.

Except partisan hacks, of course. Even to the point of dismissing fraud as "golf finances".

"Nobody [named Sentinel] gives two ----- about any politician's golf finances."

Fixed that for you.

I'll rephrase that, then. Nobody, regardless what they're named, is going to have their opinion of a politician swayed based on their golf finances. At this point, it just reinforces the Teflon Don image and how desperate people are to try to make things stick to him.

Look, another squirrel. Run, run and try to catch it! Use up all your energy and help him divert attention away from his more serious transgressions while he runs out the clock.

Are you Scottish?
Do you live in the UK?

Seems you are putting a lot of energy in deflecting from what a Scottish judge is doing in the UK

" of a politician swayed based on their golf finances"

It's not "golf finances". It's tax evasion, and his success means YOU OWE MORE.

Why don't you take a poll to see how many Americans are in favor of tax evasion?

Talk about not having your eye on the ball.

It isn't Trump's golf expenses that are the issue.

It's how in debt is he, how fraudulent are his taxes and how likely is he to use his power to benefit his own business interests.

But you're right, we shouldn't care about that at all.

"It's how in debt is he, how fraudulent are his taxes and how likely is he to use his power to benefit his own business interests."

Again, whose mind is this going to change? People knew he was a sleazy business grifter when he ran in 2016. Do you seriously believe this could finally, at last, maybe, after all this time, perhaps, be the one thing that finally knocks him out?

'Except partisan hacks, of course. Even to the point of dismissing fraud as "golf finances".'

Take that up with whoever titled this thread.

Okay, but how many respondents to the poll will say they are NOT in favor of tax evasion who have previously would gladly the next time vote for Trump?

By the time people had the opportunity to vote for Trump the first time, he was already a well-known ----- grabbing, bankruptcy filing, prostitute hiring, shady business dealing SOB.

The first time.

Then, after they learned more and more about him......10 million MORE voted for him.

I wish voters (republicans especially) in this country actually gave a ---- about such shady business practices and shady personal behavior but they don't. I think that surprises the GOP more than anything.

I'm still amazed at this phenomenon.

Good to see everyone....I promised myself I wouldn't stay long.

" Take that up with whoever titled this thread."

I'm taking it up with the moron who fell for it, and amplified it.

This is not, and never has been, about golf finances. It's about telling the banks one thing, after telling a taxing jurisdiction something completely different.

Maybe the poll question should be if deception like that is okay?

People might care.

"Fell for it" ? What are you implying about the OP and article's author here?
