He's such a heap of dung. I hope he's found guilty.

BREAKING: Trump adviser Steve Bannon indicted on 2 misdemeanor contempt of Congress charges for defying subpoena of Jan.6 House committee on Trump's instructions. Case assigned to Judge Carl Nichols, a Trump appointee

What's to find? He's a private citizen who was subpoena'd. You or I would have to show up. So does Bannon. Seems pretty clear cut.

However, he'll play this (as will Republicans) that he's being unnecessarily harassed and this is a witch hunt.

And the other greatest hit they love is running out the clock, which he'll do with appeals.

And the entire time their coup loving supporters will eat up the red meat being thrown to them. Just wait till Trump chimes in.

No orange dotard to pardon him from this grand jury indictment.

Hopefully, Nichols be impartial and follow the law. If not, the prosecution can appeal if it's clear he's showing favoritism based on Bannon's relationship with Trump.

This will be great. First, the world will get to see this slob after both a bath and a haircut. Second, his indictment sets off alarm bells for those Trumpers who until now thought they could dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge the wrenches thrown by the select committee. Last, when the DC appeals court throws out Trump's latest appeal (and the SCOTUS declines to take up the case) "Perps on Parade" will become nightly viewing on CNN and MSNBC (Faux, NewSmax and OAN will repeat the latest dog show).

The committee has until next election day. Get going...

If Trump thinks he's still POTUS, he should try to pardon Bannon. Let's see how that goes.

SHOULD HAVE BEEN INDICTED THE NEXT DAY AFTER HE REFUSED TO APPEAR

The judge that the indictment has been assigned to is a Trump appointee, however, from looking at his record, Trump and his minions probably shouldn't be holding their breath thinking that he'll dismiss the case or drag it out until this all blows over. It appears that this judge has been involved in a couple of cases where either the Trump administration or people associated with Trump and his post-election activities were involved, and so far, his rulings have not been what I suspect that Trump would be happy with:

I'm glad Bannon's been indicted. Let me know when he's been convicted and his comrades-in-arms (like Rudy and Flynn) have joined him behind bars.

Bannon today is still promoting the big lie:

As a federal judge is signing his arrest warrant, Steve Bannon is calling for sedition today. Karma.

They had to present it to the federal grand jury, who returned the indictment.

He's supposed to self-surrender on Monday, from what I understand.

Too bad his boss bought more time in appeals...it would've been fun to get those records from the National Archives today.

So when does his ass get thrown in jail?

Would love to see them arrest him during his show.
All the snowflakes would melt. The MAGA tears would be delicious.

I'm just wondering if Bannon will wear his Schutzstaffel uniform to court.

I think it's the DOJ.

With the assistance of the FBI, if needed.

That being said, I would hope that the DOJ has also notified DHS, particularly the TSA and immigration, to keep an eye out, just in case.

There will have to be trials before Bannon and the others see the inside of the bars.

Are they planning to have Trump re-installed before then?

They're planning on taking Bannon's yacht away. He'll have to smuggle his tennis racket into his cell.

When the President is said to have been "installed" you know that Bannon's drone is going to appear over his exercise yard to drop the best weed Trump money can buy.

Anyone surprised that a Visitor, a member of the "Blue Lives Matter" flag beaters (I mean wavers) and violent crosser (I mean supporter) of the "thin blue line" is now supporting criminal behavior of the fascist scum that plotted and schemed to overthrow the legitimate government of the United States?

Xi approves?
Trump's the one that wants permanet power.
Just like Xi.
Trump's the one that wanted to use the Military to put down protests.

Maybe check with the Party of Law and Order and get back to us, okay?

Meanwhile, while we're on a temporary hold with the Bannon case, I wonder what's going on with the boys. Eric, Junior and, of course, Kushner.

Nary a peep lately.

They were all up on that stage including girlfriends and wives. Junior, especially, was shouting so many threats to Republican lawmakers, using so many vulgar expletives, that Fox had to cut their coverage.

Now they've suddenly gone silent. I'd like to see them in a courtroom, sobbing, hyperventilating and crying their eyes out between desperate glances at their attorneys.

Heard from a reliable The reason they are letting him wait for "Stinky Steve" to turn himself in on Monday is he has to bathe and be power washed because he hasn't Showered since the Obama admin.

Lots of stent to wash off when you smell like the bottom of a Jack Daniels bottle, mixed with a dirty ashtray and jungle rot.

That's true. And since Bannon cut's his own hair he may have to get his hedge trimmers sharpened.

Finally! However, the fine isn't big enough. Also, the fine should be levied daily and collected weekly(?) so as to hasten the likelihood that someone would testify.

There has to be a PUNISHING penalty for thumbing your nose at congress. Go testify even if it is to just take the 5th. By not testifying, a person is making the statement that congress doesn't have the AUTHORITY to punish me!

And this is America, comrade.

Where ... No man is above the law.

Being a "politician" does not give you any special rights to ignore the law.

Congress creates the law. And no man should be above the law or this is no longer America. It's my barometer of when it is time. (You can figure out what that means.)
