Watching this whole process unfold, I must admit the most entertaining part is reading/watching people who are 'voting' for one side or another beating up on each other.

Is anyone here honest enough to admit that if the defendant was a left wing protester and the victims were right wing Proud Boys they would have a different view of who is at fault?

#1 You'd have a hard time convincing me there's such a creature in this universe as a left wing protester who got his mom to drive him to a different state to protest and then felt it was a necessary part of his protest to sneak off to obtain a rifle he couldn't legally possess.

Rittenhouse wasn't a protester. He was a provocateur.

But you already biased me by using the word "Victims."

Bailiff, whack his pee pee :)

#1 I think anyone who goes armed with an AR-15 to a powder keg of a protest and ends up shooting people in """"""""self-defense"""""""" bears a fair amount of responsibility for that, regardless of who they are or who they killed. It just so happens that the only people who LARP as cops and murder people are rightwingers, so we'll never see your hypothetical play out in real life now will we :)

Also,
I think everyone's at fault.
I think the person who pulled the trigger is the one most at fault.

Judge Whoopy Cushion has done at least one thing right... he has told the jury that they can consider whether the kid's actions provoked the incidents that night.

Pointing a gun at someone being one example.

I take some solace in the fact that the jury did not reach a quick verdict. A matter of this seriousness deserves actual discussion and deliberation among the jurors. Sometimes, when a jury reaches a super speedy verdict, as in the OJ Simpson case, it is difficult to have confidence that the jurors actually went through the deliberation process.

(2)Provocation affects the privilege of self-defense as follows:

(c) A person who provokes an attack, whether by lawful or unlawful conduct, with intent to use such an attack as an excuse to cause death or great bodily harm to his or her assailant is not entitled to claim the privilege of self-defense.

We all watched the kid point his rifle at Rosenbaum at least 3 times in the parking lot alone, perhaps more previously, and then shooting him the third time he pointed the gun. Once and then 3 more times. The mouthy little bipolar guy went down immediately and was hit twice more as he fell, the last shot in the back killing him.

The first, maybe the second shot might somehow be justified if the guy had lived. But he didn't. The last and wholly unnecessary shot killed him.

I listened to the pedophile mental patient called Kyle the 'n word' repeatedly - so, are the BLM supporters out now supporting Kyle or the pedophile mental patient shouting racist words?

I said before and I will say again - Kyle should be given a medal or perhaps the key to the city. He stopped the Kenosha riots with his actions and the world now has 1 less pedophile mental patient that was moving across state lines and not registering as a sex offender to worry about. Thank you Kyle. Let's Go Brandon!

#11 Do you think all sex criminals and mental patients deserve the death penalty, or only those who make movements or threats toward a rightwing teenage vigilante?

In other words, the case could be made that the kid slipped away from his militia babysitter, found the hot-headed, loud-mouth troublemaker he'd spotted earlier, then baited him; provoked him by pointing the gun, into running towards the kid with his only weapon a thrown plastic bag.

It was overkill, as I've said all along, to shoot the guy 4 times. But hey, now the kid is as famous as he wanted to be. And still will be even if he goes to jail. So, Win-Win.

"found the hot-headed, loud-mouth troublemaker he'd spotted earlier, then baited him; provoked him by pointing the gun, into running towards the kid with his only weapon a thrown plastic bag."

You Democrat mental patient pedophile threatened to kill Kyle on at least 3 prior occasions along with calling him the n-word: either your Democrat mental patient pedophile (Democrat, mental patient, and pedophile being almost redundant) wanted to kill him or rape him and was in the act of committing a hate crime. He then tied a t-shirt around his face so he could not be identified and ran after Kyle with the intention of raping him like he did all the other underage kids in his past or to kill him. Rosenbaum died how he lived - trying to rape minors.

"It was overkill, as I've said all along, to shoot the guy 4 times.

Kyle is 100% justified in shooting the Democrat, mental patient, pedophile as many times as it took until he felt safe. He could have shot him 30 times - but, that would have left too much of an opening for the rest of the Democrat, mental patient, pedophiles so he showed restraint. Give the kid a key to the city.

Garbage article with a false, and garbage opinion. Let's take this for instance:

"In fact, that's exactly what happened in Rittenhouse's case. He didn't impose order. He didn't stop a riot. He left a trail of bodies on the ground, and two of the people he shot were acting on the belief that Rittenhouse himself was an active shooter. He had, after all, just killed a man."

Wrong! Kyle's killing of the Democrat, mental patient, pedophile put an end to the Kenosha riot and also to the rest of the BLM rioting.

Kyle did what law enforcement was unable to do because of Leftist mayors and governors that supported the rioting, looting, raping, and killing that BLM and Antifa had committed the entire summer.

When law enforcement will not do their job, private citizens must. And that is exactly what Kyle did. He put out fires, cleaned graffiti, gave emergency aid to the injured, and stopped more of the towns property and citizens from being harmed by out of town rioters.

Kyle's culling of the Democrat base of pedophile, mental patients instantly put the Dems and the police on notice - and the police finally started to do their jobs. And the summer long BLM riots ended in the civilized parts of the country

Now, there is the risk that they start back up if Kyle is found innocent of the charges as he likely will be - but, the rioters and those hell bent on destroying other people's property or attacking those that dare to wear MAGA hats, will take a second to think about their actions now. They can no longer act like a bunch of animals and expect everyone else to cower - they will be culled - and the US will be a better place for it.

Jury has gone home. Three days of deliberation. Almost 24 hours actual time in the jury deliberation room This case was a never a slam dunk for conviction or acquittal. With 20-20 hindsight it is amusing to think that many of you thought it was.

For whatever it is worth, I do think they will reach a verdict.
