Jan. 6 Organizers Used Anonymous Burner Phones' to Communicate with White House and Trump Family

It figures that the ------------ cop killers would be in contact with the fat pedo and his crotch fruit during the insurrection.

They cleverly bought burner phones and then used them to take selfies of themselves during an insurrection which they then posted on Fakebook allowing the FBI to easily find most of them long after they fled the scene of their crimes.

Brilliant!

Where were these people with these revelations six, eight or ten months ago?

Coming out now is pointless. The goldfish memory of 'Muricans has kicked in and this isn't even a blip on their radar anymore.

There's too much to talk about with the latest episodes of The Masked Singer or whatever other terrible drivel they're watching.

From the cited article...

...Kylie Kremer, a top official in the March for Trump group that helped plan the Ellipse rally, directed an aide to pick up three burner phones days before Jan. 6, according to three sources who were involved in the event. One of the sources, a member of the March for Trump team, says Kremer insisted the phones be purchased using cash and described this as being "of the utmost importance."

The three sources say Kylie Kremer took one of the phones and used it to communicate with top White House and Trump campaign officials, including Eric Trump, the president's second-oldest son, who leads the family's real-estate business; Lara Trump, Eric's wife and a former senior Trump campaign consultant; Mark Meadows, the former White House chief of staff; and Katrina Pierson, a Trump surrogate and campaign consultant....

That really seems to negate the "unplanned, spontaneous" designation given to the insurrection by some people.

@#3 ... Where were these people with these revelations six, eight or ten months ago? ...

My guess ...

They had been keeping a low profile. However, now that investigations are starting to get close to them, they are trying to get ahead of the ball, possibly even try to deflect investigative attention away from themselves.

Only if they can actually prove it. Otherwise it's just more lies trying to smear the greatest president in the history of the world...that will be the response of the cult.

At this point as JPW said the general public has moved on and the Democrats have blew their chance once again.
They should have been been playing hardball from day 1 like the Republicans would have done. Instead they wasted time on trying to get a bi partisan committee together to investigate.

You know who else used burners? Al Qaeda, not a coincidence.

@#6 ... Only if they can actually prove it. ...

Agreed.

However, if Rolling Stone had access to and reviewed the text messages, I'd say that those texts are also in the possession of the DoJ.

Time will tell where the evidence will lead the investigators.

Those anonymous burner phones used by former trump officials bounce off the same cell towers as their primary phones. Intelligence agencies can zero in on a burner phone and primary phone and create a very short list of numbers.
Not quite anonymous.

Right, can they get access to that information or do they have it already?
Trump and the Republicans seem very skilled at thwarting attempts to obtain personal information.

That's why on day 1 instead of wasting time signing executive orders on halting pipelines and transgender rights Joe Biden should have been firing every Trump appointee in the DOJ and then set up a team to go after these traitors.

Joe Biden should have been firing every Trump appointee in the DOJ and then set up a team to go after these traitors.

Joe Biden declared he wouldn't investigate Trump or Republicans, before the election occurred.

Since then, the only thing I'm aware he's done is put some hearts on the White House lawn.

Biden served his purpose. Trump lost the election.

I knew he wouldn't do anything else.

Now we wait for 2022 when the Republicans are guaranteed to take Congress.

Who uses a burner phone? People who plan on committing crimes.

You got that right, and the Trump 2024 campaign is underway. And the Dems got nothing.

And were dumb enough to think holding off early on to save the political capital for Biden's first 100 days.

Which the impotently squandered because, well, they're Dems.

I think Biden has done it the right way.

Going directly after Trump and his cronies would have a bad look (ie a Trump look). Bypassing executive privilege is just far enough.

When the report comes out, it's going to make a lot of important people look bad, and it will be used against them. And that could give some fire power to the Dems in elections, especially getting those independent voters.

Plus, in the end, history should know what that administration actually did.

Means nothing if they can't message for ---- or control the narrative.

The GOP has half the country believing Biden is the reason for high gas prices and inflation.

Why? Because they're ruthless and unscrupulous while the Dems are worried about changing the names of sports teams and making sure everyone knows Kamala was the first "POTUS" when power was transferred during Joe's colonoscopy.

You have to admit, though, Dem's would do the same exact thing, it's politics! That's the way it works. To call that ruthless is a bit of a stretch.

It's Biden's job to get that turned around, and there's time to do it. And there appears to be evidence, right now, that a turnaround will happen. Subject to change of course!!

Are you kidding? Republicans shamelessly lie about literally everything and will weaponize that report no matter what it says. It exonerates them, it's partisan, etc. They'll dig up some obnoxiously irrelevant facet of someone involved's life and then use it to smear that person (and by extension the report).

Republicans being utterly shameless gives them such a distinct messaging advantage; Dems refuse to stoop that low and therefore lose the game.

It shocks and disappoints me that people don't share your assessment. A fairly easy prediction is that republicans will focus on some extraneous point in the report, obfuscate loudly and at length, weaponizing all of their media and talking heads to distract until the report fades into oblivion. They do it on every single thing-the Meuller Report and -------- first impeachment to name just two recent examples.

Again, it is too late, the opportunity was lost. The fight should now be to assure the voting system is secure and dems are a 9/10ths of a mile behind in a 1-mile race.

But keeping dreaming the SDNY will get -------, oh wait that investigation has stalled at the COO.

Perhaps Georgia, nah whom am I fooling. Except most dems.

#20. Steele Dossier? 4 year investigation to conduct a coup? You are spot on except for which party you are talking about.

What a lying buffoon.

Two reports. One a four volume set from the Senate Intelligence Committee.

And you ignore all of it.

Because you're a gullible idiot.
