Jonathan Weisman: Republicans have fought mask requirements and vaccine mandates for months, but as coronavirus infections again rise, they are blaming the president for failing to end the health crisis.

Typical Republicans, blaming everyone else for the ramifications of what they espouse and do.

If the sun didn't come up tomorrow the GQP would blame Biden.

At what point does the GOP try to at least become the party of being responsible for what they espouse?

I mean, really.

Please don't tell me that those who vote these people into office are that unaware of the policies and the ramifications of what they vote for.

The response from the Dems should be: "You're right, not enough is being done by the government to stem the rise of Covid in the US. Join us in imposing and enforcing vaccine mandates and mask requirements. Together we can defeat this scourge. "

Watch the insincere Right duck and dive, unless they are offered credit for defeating Covid ...

Everyone knows the cure for covid is tax breaks and less gun restrictions... masks and vaccines are a Marxist plot to make you question yer gender.

Intensive care units and morgues have been strained to capacity by the unvaccinated, a demographic dominated by those who voted last year for former President Donald Trump.

As of mid-September, 90% of adult Democrats had been vaccinated, compared with 58% of adult Republicans.

Repug plague rats are pro-COVID. End of story.

Reporters, when questioning republicans on this specific topic, need to be very condescending when framing their question. Their question should go something like: Why should Biden be blamed for the continuation of the pandemic when it is mostly DUMB ASS republicans that are not getting vaccinated and following CDC guidelines and DUMB ASS elected republicans that are actively working against Biden's efforts?

If you're going to use made up vacination rates why not say 99% or 110%?

Makes gop sense.

Anti-vax Republicans can never again claim to be 'pro-life.'

They're responsible for the continuing pandemic and clogged hospitals packed to the rafters with anti-vaxxers who didn't trust science to keep them from getting sick, but now trust them to heal them.

typical slash and burn GOP tactics...
the absolutely count on their moronic
and non-moral base, not to pay attention
or to not give a flying feck...

The thing that is interesting to me is that the republiCONs have been fighting the vaccine, vaccination mandates, and any other attempt at trying to undo the trump epidemic. SO, the hospitalizations and deaths are climbing amongst their 'base'. The gulible deplorables are going to receive the brunt of the continuing development of covid 19. How do the rCONs get off that really losing strategy, which looks to be really backfiring on them. And with Omicron on the horizon, and probably approaching fast, the more the rCONs play their games, the worse it will be, for the American public in general, and the magats and covidiots in particular, unless it is sufficiently mutated to become a "to whom it may concern" virus once again.

Republicans Fight Covid Mandates, Then Blame Biden as Cases Rise

Jonathan Weisman: Republicans have fought mask requirements and vaccine mandates for months, but as coronavirus infections again rise, they are blaming the president for failing to end the health crisis.

Which makes absolutely no sense. Want cases to cease rising? Do simple things that work to protect yourselves and others from getting and spreading COVID, moron Republicans.

It is truly a conundrum...anti-vaccination or abortion? How do you want the government to control your bodies? Silly conservatives.

Eiron, the goddess of irony, will be laughing hard enough to be oiling out a wet fart!

GQP has become lost in the maze of their own blatant lies, agenda driven obvious lies, embarrassingly transparent lies, abundantly clear malice, twisted logic and the insistence that every plank of the foundational Fantasy world they create must be embraced and violently evangelized by all GQPers.

Failure to accept/believe/preach all the GQP propaganda Kabuki, will result in RINO-Republicans being shunned, harassed, bullied, and intimidated into silence, by MAGAts.

We all know this. Every one on this board understands this.

Fox and Friends suggests democrats are making up new covid variants in an attempt to help Biden.

Not sure how that would help him but at least they're wildly inconsistent on the right.

Yup. It's all been just a democratic hoax designed to make Trumpy and his trumpets look deplorable.

Like they needed any help from Democrats with behaving deplorably.
