Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Monday, November 29, 2021

Republican officials around the country are testing a creative mechanism to build loyalty with unvaccinated Americans while undermining Biden administration mandates: unemployment benefits. Driving the news: Florida, Iowa, Kansas and Tennessee have changed their unemployment insurance rules to allow workers who are fired or quit over vaccine mandates to receive benefits. The big picture: Extending unemployment benefits to the unvaccinated is just the latest in a series of proposals aligning the GOP with people who won't get a COVID shot.

The repugs should sweeten the pot by throwing in a free ventilator.

Lose your job because the company folds, your position gets cut or any other no fault reason and you're a bum for taking unemployment. Get a job loser!

But lose your because you're a selfish, ignorant moron? Here! Have some tax dollars for sticking it to the libs!

The GOP is grotesque. Absolutely grotesque.

Man, they're working overtime to continue this pandemic, which is the height of irresponsibility.

None of them should ever again utter the phrase, "Pro-life." They're anything but.

What other company polices does the GOP think I should get benefits for if I get fired for or quit my job because i refuse to follow them? I'm really tied of wearing pants at the office. Can I get unemployment because of my company's draconian anti-freeballing policy?

"It's a policy of pernicious hypocrisy: welfare for vaccine refusers, tough love for everyone else."

Couldn't have said it better.
