100 Million dollars just to coach football. That's just nuts

In many states the football coach at the main state university is the highest paid state employee. Usually by a factor of 10 over the next person, unless they have two major universities or an elite BB program.

As a lifelong resident (until a couple of years ago) I can tell you the last thing they need to spend 100 million dollars on is a football coach.

And when I say Louisiana, I mean South of I-10. Anything north of I-10 is considered Yankee territory.
