Now refuse to pass the Defense bill. Hold it hostage until BBB is passed first. Yeah, baby, Yeah.

The nutjob Q-anon congresswoman from Georgia lost her mind when she found out everyone ignored her pleas to drive the government into the ditch.
Bless her heart

drive the government into the ditch.

She just didn't realize it was already in the ditch, and almost buried under $29,000,000,000,000

Nothing like burdening our great grandchildren with a lower standard of living to have hamburgers today.

Now refuse to pass the Defense bill.

One can hope ..

That's less than two years worth of GDP.
Every buy a home?
Ever have it cost more than you make in two years?

Can't lose something that you never had possession of.

You think our 29 tillion in debt will be better to manage after a default?

Better off just strategically defaulting, re-incorporating as Trumpland, and starting from scratch.

We did elect the Debt King after all. Who has run multiple corporations he founded with other people's money (his dad's) into the ground.

So ... its growing non-linearly

Ever buy a home?

Is that supposed to be some sort of an intelligent analogy?

Given such a poor analogy, a better question would be, have you ever bought a home?

Why would you ever want to do that?

You are like the construction worker catcalling women, out of ideas.

"So ... its growing non-linearly"

It's only growing at all because of Republican tax policy.

"Given such a poor analogy, a better question would be, have you ever bought a home?"

Nope.
But if I do, the lender will take on a debt that is several multiples of my annual household income.
Zillow's affordability calculator says someone earning $70,000 a year can afford a $321,000 home.

So I don't really see why you're concerned with this debt. It's well within our ability to pay down.
Is... is your concern that it will keep going up, under Repubilcan fiscal stewardship?
That's fair. But I don't think you're worried about that.

"Why would you ever want to do that?"

I don't. I'm not the Debt King. I'm practically a Debt Pauper. I don't even own a home. My biggest debt is a student loan, which isn't even worth a new Cadillac.

There needs to be a new law. If you vote to shutdown government and you are a member of congress and it succeeds. You no longer get paid for the rest of your term and all your medical benefits and any other benefits stop immediately.
