More from the article: "Some people said he made a mistake when he fired Comey.' Now those same people say it's one of the most incredible, instinctual moves they've ever seen. ... I don't think I could have survived if I didn't fire him. It was like a hornet's nest."

"Instinctual moves" - A crooked mayor getting rid of the sheriff to replace him with a stooge. Yup fits.

Doesn't matter.. apparently Trump can shoot someone on 5th Ave and Merrirck Garland would find a reason he couldn't prosecute.

uh yeah go to jail now.

NO

Really

Trump is a known flight risk.

Let him have his own cell at the county lockup until he's found guilty and then send him to supermax.

Garland will do nothing. Biden will do nothing. Dems will do nothing. Trump will beat them.

SPEAKS

"Garland will do nothing. Biden will do nothing. Dems will do nothing. Trump will beat them."

Trump's raging paranoia isn't enough to charge him with obstruction of justice, even if it's with his own admission. Fact is, Trump had the authority to fire Comey without any reason at all. Of course, we all know the truth but the DOJ doesn't have the luxury of arresting and charging Trump without first building a bulletproof case with backup evidence and much more testimony than Trump's own words ~ which were not said under oath.

I disagree with your statement that Garland, Biden and the Dems are doing nothing. Thats only your "to all appearances" viewpoint.

You have no idea (nor do any of us) of what is happening outside the view of the public . . . nor is the DOJ in the habit of issuing daily press releases for us to munch upon.

You might also want to keep in mind that a "rush to judgment" against Trump is a sure-fired guarantee that he will wiggle his way out any judgement at all.

One might think 4 years is long enough to build an iron clad case given the defendant is loudly admitting it on camera

But sure you keep on believing

Tick tock

11 months and no leadership held accountable for 1/6

But you keep on believing

a cross between Pee Wee Herman and Barney Fife.

What 4 years is that, TRUTHY? The years Bill Barr's DOJ turned a blind eye to at the time?

It seems to me President Biden's DOJ has been filling that evidence basket pretty fast since he's been in office. Maybe you just can see the noose slowly tightening.

Exhibit 1 ------- under investigation for Russian interference with election
Exhibit 2 comey leading investigation
Exhibit 3 ------- fires comey
Exhibit 4 ------- fires comey over investigation
Exhibit 5 ------- admitting 4 publicly

Guilty of obstruction of justice

Not sure why it takes 4 years

TRUTHY

"Not sure why it takes 4 years."

You know why.

But only Bill Barr can answer that question definitively ~ under oath. It was his 4 years.

I'd say AG Garland could start with the Mueller Investigation, which painstakingly documented TEN counts of obstruction of justice against Combover Quisling in a ready for indictments format. It was investigated and documented by the best people at DOJ!

Let's start another investigation because you know the 4 years of investigation by the left worked so well. Let's throw in some more Dem made up evidence as well just to keep it going. The left would be happy to spend another 41 million of tax payer money to keep Biden out of the public eye.

The NO-RUSH approach will allow him to evade accountability until he's prez again and can simply pardon himself and all the other fascist terrorist revolutionaries.

All trump has to do is stall until repubs are back in power (12 months left) and he's scott free.

The last 4 years of investigations worked great - we discovered that trump colludes with our enemies, blackmails our allies, foments insurrection against his own country, and your entire party is so scared of his moronic cult that you allow him to do it all.

Trump's raging paranoia isn't enough to charge him with obstruction of justice, even if it's with his own admission.

This isn't about unfounded "paranoia." It is about knowingly impeding an investigation into his own wrongdoing, which is a federal crime, and then admitting to it on camera.

It's rather sad to watch you so consistently trust that Dems are secretly doing grand things behind the scenes when the only thing they have proven over the years is that they have zero effective answers to Trump absolutely ruining this country. Nothing. Even Biden said he had no intention of "looking backwards," and he hired the exact sort of AG who would go along with that strategy.

If Garland was actually going to pursue Trump, he could have filed charges the day he was confirmed based solely on the Mueller Report. The closer we get to Trump formally announcing for 2024, the more likely it is that any indictment would simply be lost in the noise.

If Garland is going after Trump, he's terrible at it.

Presidents protect their own. Same as it ever was. People really need to stop thinking that Biden will go after Trump. Trump is a free bird. He'll remain a free bird.

Biden literally announced he wasn't going to pursue Trump.

It's one of the few campaign promises he's kept.

Amen. Mueller said - Here's where trump obstructed justice 10 times, and when he's not president anymore he can be prosecuted for it.

Biden and garland take office and..... NOTHING.

Trump 2024, I like the sound of that. Too bad for the Dems they have no courage. Faint hearts win no favor. Even if the prosecution failed it would still be better than just rolling over.

Why are they so timid? What do they know or fear that the rest of us don't see?

For that matter why was Gore so timid in 2000?

Why didn't he fight harder?

Something's up with this.

Democrats complaining about their pisspoor leadership and still pretending there wasn't a better choice in the primary. You need to start with the DNC for your buyers remorse.

The DNC didn't make black people unwilling to vote for anyone who didn't still smell like obama's cologne.

They are the reason we got stuck with biden. If black people had supported warren or sanders, that's who would be president right now.
