Just a few days after Lapado (Florida's Surgeon General) said testing was hurting Florida new State guidelines for testing were released. The new rules Florida has published contradict the CDC's guidelines.

I hope to high heavens that the people of Florida elect a new Governor November 8, 2022. We have three good candidates - Charlie Crist, Nikki Fried, Annette Taddeo.

What's wrong with you people?!? Fewer tests means fewer deaths from Covid. Problem solved. Now, where's that Nobel Prize for medicine?

... testing was hurting Florida ...

I'd be interested in exactly what, or who, he is referring to when he uses the word "Florida."

It does not seem to be used in the context of meaning the people of Florida, as testing may result in fewer Floridians dying, and such a comment would be ridiculous, or even borderline criminal, for a state Surgeon General to say in that context.

Cut off federal aid. Let them die on their own. Problem solved.

The Surgeon General of Florida has stated that people are too worried about COVID and that all this testing is paralyzing them in their personal lives and hurting the economy and businesses in Florida. He stated that testing, except in limited cases, should cease.

'"It's really time for people to be living," Ladapo said. "To make the decisions they want regarding vaccination and to enjoy the fact that many people have natural immunity and to unwind this preoccupation with only COVID as determining the boundaries and constraints and possibilities of life."'

"Ladapo has been an outspoken critic of both mask and vaccine mandates, but has also been skeptical of the safety of COVID-19 vaccines."

If it walks like a Trumpy and talks like a Trumpy it's definitely an A Ho.

Anyone have an example of a Trumper who is NOT an A Ho?

@#8 ... "It's really time for people to be living," Ladapo said. ... Ladapo has been an outspoken critic of both mask and vaccine mandates ...

But, following his advice might result in more Floridians dying, a strange position for a state Surgeon General to take.

Does Florida's Attorney General recommend that Floridians run red lights because the state's mandate to stop at a red light restricts freedom?

"Ladapo has been an outspoken critic of both mask and vaccine mandates, but has also been skeptical of the safety of COVID-19 vaccines."

How many have died due this incompetence and criminal negligence being spewed from the Trumpy party?

How many more will have to die unnecessarily?

When will they be held accountable for their negligence ?

"Coughing? Sore throat? At the first signs of COVID what you need is to get out on our crowded beaches, eat with friends, go to a club and sweat it off dancing! Florida: Our ICUs May Be Full But Our Mortuaries Are Open For Business"

Florida's a great place to be - it's just we have really stupid people running it. Hideously stupid. Abysmally dumb. And they're liars, too. Even the Surgeon General lied about his COVID experience. But hey, he's still there! No problem with lying - not if you're a Republican. And there are the idiots that vote for them. They don't affect the beaches, and the weather this time of year is awesome.

Why would you not come to Florida if you're fully vaccinated, boosted, and are outdoors? Not much of a reason to wear a mask when you're outdoors, fully vaccinated, and got your booster shot.

Pretty basic things, but I guess too compilcated for *some posters* to comprehend, no matter how many times they've had it explained to them.

Personally I'm not one to hop on a plane and go vacation somewhere - not because of the plane, which is by far one of the safer places to be - but because you have to go through airports.

May as well ignore CDC testing because they don't care much for reporting the truth to Americans.

But before more data could be collected to answer these lingering questions, the CDC stopped tracking breakthrough infections that resulted in asymptomatic, mild, or moderate cases. Since May 1, the agency has only reported and investigated coronavirus infections among vaccinated people that resulted in hospitalization or death.

Sequencing efforts in the US haven't ramped up much, either: The country is still only sequencing about 1.4% of its coronavirus cases, according to data from GISAID, a global database that collects coronavirus genomes.
