When asked Thursday about his criticism of Trump, McCarthy said, "My criticism was to everyone" and shifted blame to Capitol security more generally, "Why were we so ill-prepared that day?"

... "Why were we so ill-prepared that day?" ...

That looks like a major deflection attempt.

What i would be interested in is why did Rep McCarthy seem to change his opinion of January 6 after he met with fmr Pres Trump in Florida.

Was that conversation a plan to obstruct justice?

"Why were we so ill-prepared that day?"

Because nothing of significant importance really happened that day---or was ever going to.

@#2 ... Because nothing of significant importance really happened that day ..

An example of the alternate reality that nearly half the Country lives in.

I do respect, however, how the comment was phrased as a negative. It is most difficult to show proof of a negative assertion.

It is most difficult to show proof of a negative assertion.

But it's very easy to concoct and promulgate a -------- narrative using propaganda and social media algorithms.

Like the Chinese do.

I note that your comments, in spite of the meaningless buzzwords, still have not any manner of substantive gainsay of what I noted in #1.

Are you an AI bot? Your comments certainly sound like one.

But I have to wonder...

Why all the sudden attention when I innocently mention a possible obstruction of justice in #1.

I remember what McQuarthy said as 1.6 was happening. He had a very heartfelt interview with CBS news. I can tell sincerity in voice and he was very sincere when he was shaken to the core by the insurrection.

What happened to that boy Qevin?

BROKEN

" he was shaken to the core by the insurrection. What happened to that boy Qevin?"

Trump found a second core ~ a political one that shook poor Qevin even worse.

To be a little more explicit, the first core is the little known "Empathy Core," which only temporarily affects the digestive system. The second, and more common core, which when properly massaged, is the one that opens the floodgates between the lower intestine and the rectum ~ if you get my drift.

Trump found that second core in Kevin

We'll see how brave he is when he gets in front of a Grand Jury and Trump's not around to break his fall.

Not "fixed," TWINPAC, just "editorially adjusted."

I continue to be amazed at the number of political cowards operating in government. Where's Barry Goldwater to kick some but when needed? Kevin is a frightened little boy...

I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

Extremism thrives amid ignorance and anger, intimidation and cowardice.

I thought of that DOC @ #16 but I was almost positive McCarthy didn't have any.

Subpoena his ass. Don't even give him a choice. Or, make prison his only other choice.
