Yes digging trenches. This is after what was reported in the original article. This is them "pulling back" - all the way to Chernobyl. It's like they are so uninformed and/or naive they were going to dig in around Chernobyl.
There are also reports of "Ghost" buses pretty much going through Belarus back to Russia - the occupants are all dead.

The workers also reported the Russian soldiers didn't know what Chernobyl is. Mind blowing. The officers should have known.

Russian propaganda machines will no doubt claim that Ukraine/western forces have started using radioactive warfare.

Question for our DR veterans and active duty military:
Would you prefer to be flash-fried by the enemy or slow-roasted by your own commander?

I watched "Chernobyl."

Why did they even want Chernobyl in the first place?
Nothing Russia has done in the past month makes any sense.
At all.

If they blew up Chernobyl wouldn't that take out all of the people in Ukraine??

The fact that it makes no sense makes me question it's veracity.
Duh?

#20 - I was under the impression that Chernobyl is still part of the Ukrainian power grid, and the early plan was to turn out the lights in all, or at least a significant portion of the country. I guess Putin thought the Ukrainians were afraid of the dark.

No. But it would spread radiation throughout Europe and that includes Belarus and Russia - again.
