More from the article...

...The big picture: The motion, filed in New York's state supreme court, also seeks to impose a $10,000 daily fine on Trump for every day that he continues to withhold the evidence a state judge had ruled he must turn over.

- - Trump was due to turn over the requested documentation by March 3, but requested -- and was granted -- an extension until the end of March, at which point he "raised a new round of objections to the document requests," per the New York Attorney General's statement.

- - "Under settled law, a party is not permitted to delay proceedings at this advanced juncture in the legal process to challenge an investigative subpoena, so Mr. Trump does not have the ability to raise these baseless objections at this time," the statement added....

Howcome I'm not an attorney general, yet I can see trump's strategy is RUN OUT THE CLOCK until repubs can make all his crimes disappear, and our actual attorney general can't see it?

As a private citizen, Trump doesn't have the juice to "make all his crime disappear."

He can only delay the inevitable.

Keep in mind that it's not Trump the A.G. is after. It's Trump Org. ~ the parent company of "all his crime." When that and all the other assets and partnerships to which Trump hold title goes into a court ordered Receivership to pay all his loans, back taxes, legal fees and a sundry of other charge filed against him, that will be the end of Trump Org and Donald Trump.

The DOJ can pile on at the same time for federal crimes.

Really? He's done is so far. When you are the head of a violent political cult and half of law enforcement and the military supports you, and a political party willing to vote to dismiss any crime you commit, turns out you can literally do anything.

Like trump will pay for anything, time or money.

I wish I could say all that isn't true but, unfortunately, it is. At least up to January 20, 2021 when the legal control of Trump's past criminal activities changed hands. Now you see the walls closing in and a man very much on the defensive along with those who enabled him ~ as though they all believed the Trump gravy train was going to last forever.

Trump is not a healthy man. He may not live long enough to receive his just deserts. But the legislation that comes out of this inkblot on America will serve a purpose far more important than the man who sought to destroy her.

There is a reason the prosecuters on the case quit and it's not because they were Trump supporters. Someday if you haters ever learn what buying property entails instead of renting or living in your Mom's basements you might figure this out.

They wrote a letter explaining why they quit. Did you read it?

Nope.

I love it how righties think so highly of themselves for doing completely ordinary, mundane things.

Next thing we know fisted here will talk about how big an accomplishment it is to have a job.
