The minute-long spot ("The Crazy Ones") pays ironic tribute to Apple's "Think Different" commercial, including "the men and women of Ultra MAGA' who are out to destroy America's values and reverse decades of social progress." Florida gets its share of the spotlight, of course.

"The term "ultra-MAGA" was coined by President Joe Biden to malign Sen. Rick Scott's policy proposals, and the Senator is featured in a slideshow of purported extremists from "(Donald) Trump's Republican Party" that includes Gov. Ron DeSantis and U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz.

"No one mistakes today's congressional Republicans for geniuses," Reed Galen said. "But voters shouldn't dismiss their plans to roll back individual rights as just crazy talk.

It isn't just outlier Republicans talking like this. The entire Republican Party is feverishly working every single day to take power and turn their warped fantasies into reality. Americans must stand up and fight for the future of the nation before it is too late."

We did that in 2019 and dems took our last chance to save america and squandered it on building roads instead of defending democracy and prosecuting fascists.

It's already too late.

Well, one thing I can proudly say... I was never a Republican.

And "too late" is just another opinion.

You think never changing your views is something to be proud of?

Hillary's loss should have taught you something about your ability to understand the american electorate.

It taught me something about Russia's influence in our electoral process. How 'bout you?

It taught me how fragile our democracy really is and how easily our elections can be manipulated from the outside with help from the inside. It also taught me how social media and their "algorithms " have been so destructive to our society and how divided we have become as a country and how much disinformation is influencing our elections.

it didn't teach you that nominating a status quo elitist corporate sellout would make the election close enough for putin to steal?

Florida is like America's Pedo uncle. We don't necessarily want him put to death. But we don't want to be around him, and he certainly is not invited to family gatherings. Except by the other closet pedos throughout the GOP. Pretty much all of us would trade Florida for Puerto Rico in terms of Statehood.

- Hillary's loss

By one vote in each District in WS? While getting a landslide in the popular vote.

Your supposition appears to be that your candidate Bernie would have beaten Trump... and that's a major leap of faith with little or no rational maths.

Which is kinda funny now when you don't listen to anything he tells you now... or then. Bernie is supporting Dems of all stripes because he knows that's how we win.

Hell, even the neo-cons at the Lincoln Project are being more helpful to Dems than some of their supposed supporters on the supposedly far left.

What's NOT a leap of faith is that nominating a corporate sellout dem DOESNT work. We have the evidence. The only reason biden won is because trump bungled the pandemic. If it weren't for covid, he'd still be in charge.

It was a very long year. I learned a lot more than I posted. Obviously.

Trying to keep it simple stupid(kiss).

Maybe. Are you sure it wasn't because the election was stolen by democrats? You are starting to sound a bit Trumpy lately.

It's not like Trumpy and his band of criminals didn't bungle a whole lot more than just COVID. But it's really hard to hide a half million dead Americans and pretend he had nothing to do with it.

Is that all you can remember of the Trump error? The criminal negligence and incompetence of the Trump administration caused a lot more suffering and grief in than just that of Covid l.

Sure. He did a lot wrong. Which is why anyone but hillary would have beaten him the second time.

Just like the first.

Are you saying that James Comey's highly irregular public announcement (and a break of protocol) about Hillary being under FBI investigation had nothing to do with her losing that election?

about Hillary being under FBI investigation had nothing to do with her losing that election?

I always considered that the main thing. Carefully timed to bump the "-------------" video off the news cycle when it was just getting rolling.

If we want to win 2024 we need to somehow convince Michelle Obama to run. Otherwise, I almost guarantee it will be Gov. Death-sentence in the Oval Office. Biden and or Harris are DOA if they try to run.

In a close election, any factor can be accurately described as the deciding factor.

The point is, it shouldnt have been close enough for comey or putin or anyone to tip the scales. But dems nominated a horrible corporate sellout when the country was in an anti elitist populist mood. Which it still is.

It will be a republican for sure if dems nominate biden or harris. But that's exactly what they'll do because establishment dems are pathetic cowards.
