Former President Donald Trump is peddling a children's book written by a former member of his administration that stars "King Donald" and reimagines a kingdom where the "Russionians" weren't a factor in the 2016 election.

"Trump posted on Truth Social last week."

It will resonate strongly with all 3 Truth Social subscribers.

The media needs to stop publicizing his drivel.

And I'll bet that all 'three' of those Truth Social subscribers would be the type who'd go to school board meetings and demand that they start burning books...

I want one of these books. Well, two. One as a collectors item, and one to deface with vileness that it richly deserves.

This guy is SO effed-up in the head.

Don't they teach "The Emperor's New Clothes" anymore?

Wait...what?

There's no Donald Duck books in the school library?

People never learn. I've been calling Trump out as a classic internet troll since before he was elected, and people continue to take the bait Every Single Time.

"Media" is plural, by the way.

I'm betting our resident righties will show up to denounce this clear attempt to indoctrinate young children.

Boaz is probably spitting fire he's so angry at Trump going after young children...

Yer an idiot.

And, no, you haven't.

Was "King Donald" a good, kind and benevolent king in the book . . . . or was he a tyrannical orange monster who boiled black children in oil so they couldn't grow up to break through the walls of his gleaming white fortified castle and chase him off his throne?

Here's a tip for you wannabe Russian trolls: denying history in such a blatant manner outs you every time.

Been there done that ... There is already a very famous poem in school libraries about Humpy Dumpy.

I remember it well ...

Humpy Dumpy built a Great Wall then Humpy Dumpy had a great fall ...

And as we know ...

all the Kings horses and all the Kings arses could not put Humpy together again...

Remember the good ol' days when Republicans falsely claimed liberals thought Obama was a messiah?

Stop pretending you know what you're talking about. A president is not simply a troll. You don't "take the bait" by talking about what a presidential nominee, president or former president says. As much as I despise Trump, what he says is news, period. Ignoring it is not going to change anything.

"He's not going away by not talking about him."

Bless your heart. You probably think oversaturating the media with free publicity and obsessing over EVERY inane thing he says led to his defeat in 2020, and had nothing to do with helping him get elected in 2016, right?

"Bless your heart. "

And bless your little two sizes too small heart, too!

I guess you think that it hurt the Donald to take him off the Twitter.

Ignoring the raging fire in the corner does not make it go away.

It will burn itself out eventually yes. But at what cost?

My guess you are willing to accept those consequences (like Jan 6th) .

I would posit that most Americans (if they really and truly understand him and his hateful agenda) are not.

The book is already in many, many school libraries and in high school curricula nationwide. It's under the title "King Lear"...

#21 | Posted by catdog at 2022-06-08 01:12 PM | Reply

You mean "King Leer"
