"Hutchinson was not willing to risk taking a contempt of Congress charge to impede the probe and the change in representation is a sign she is more willing to cooperate with the committee, the source familiar with the matter told CNN."

More from the cited article...

...The change in counsel signals an increased willingness from Hutchinson to cooperate fully with the Jan. 6 select committee's probe, according to a person familiar with her thinking. The panel has signaled that it views her as a key witness.

Hutchinson's former attorney, Stefan Passantino, has deep Trump World connections. Her new lawyer, Jody Hunt, is a longtime close ally of Jeff Sessions and served as his chief of staff when the former attorney general enraged Trump by recusing from the Russia probe....

@#2 ... Donald Trump is still the main focus on this site. ...

Most likely because fmr Pres Trump is still the leader of the Republican Party, and is still demanding unfettered adulation from those in the Republican Party (to the point of throwing his own daughter under the bus).

So maybe, before your comments criticize this august site for keeping track of fmr Pres Trump, your comments might want to take a look at the Republican Party's leadership and members, and their unfettered fealty to him instead of the Constitution.

Did Rogers put up some sort of wall that prevents you from wheeling out the stories you think are truly important and slapping them up here?

Didn't think so.

Trump and those of you who are lip-locked onto his big, fat, sweaty posterior remain the focus of a rather important story involving an attempted coup.

Sorry, but you cockroaches are stuck with this one.

Enjoy.

Just read your slate.com article, Doc. Yep, she could be the John Dean of this attempt to subvert democracy.

Meadows 'burning' papers in his office? You don't burn anything unless you have something to hide.

Well then you're free to take your dishonest, disingenuous piece of ---- ass somewhere else that better suits you.

If you would just quit talking about him and stop trying to uncover his crimes he would just go away. Oh. And he's definitely "not running again ... as far as we know".

Meadows is in deep do-do. He doesn't have to honor a subpoena. His aide is doing it for him.
