Residents of the West Texas city of Odessa woke up Tuesday morning without water, following a water main burst late Monday night that may not be fixed for two days, one week into a heat wave that has kept temperatures in the 100s throughout Texas and the Southwest.

BTW the heat wave is an international problem because it is a widespread global occurrence and not just happening here in the USofA.

I felt the need to say that because Texicl0wns often see themselves as the center of the universe.

Oh and on a serious note... tell me why Texas is soooooooo much better than CA? At least CA has a "northern" section and some high elevations.

I didn't think 99 was notably hot for Texas.

As long as the oil pumps keep running, that's what really matters. People are replaceable, oil is not.

I can see Crudz go to Yellowknife to see Aurora Borealis this time of year.
