Gay Republican group banned from GOP convention

After spending the past few years decrying LGBTQ equality and denigrating the "leftist" community in general and transgender people in particular, the Log Cabin Republicans found out that people were finally listening to them. Unfortunately for them, it was their own Party. The group was denied even a minimal gesture of inclusion " a booth at the Texas GOP convention.

Their goal is to criminalize homosexuality....it's coming.

I've never understood why ANYBODY would want to associate with a group that was hostile to the very essence of who they were. Are these Log Cabin Republicans rich and greedy?

Maybe it's because they don't see it as "the very essence" of who they are, but just one facet of it. It sounds like you expect them to be one issue voters.

Log Cabin Republicans are delusional about their status within the GOP. The party will, happily, cash any and all checks they raise, right up to the point they deny their right to exist.

How dare these minorities not conform to your expectations of them? Maybe someone should tell them to stop being -----. It might not help convince them to change parties, but it would sure make you feel better, right?

Its too bad gay folks who believe in limited government and fiscal responsibility don't have a place in the GOP, simply because they're gay.

But the GOP represents culture war, not conservative government. Best just to support blue dogs.
