Jan. 6 Panel Subpoenas Unseen Trump Footage

The House select committee investigating Jan. 6 sent a subpoena last week to ALEX HOLDER, a documentary filmmaker who was granted extensive access to President DONALD TRUMP and his inner circle, and who shot interviews with the then-president both before and after Jan. 6. The existence of this footage is previously unreported.

I'll wager that Der Dotard was concerned about being filmed in the right light, from the right angles, and in a manner which showed him to be smart, charming, well-groomed, physically virile and politically powerful--all image. He was probably shown a few minutes of "Triumph of the Will" and was told he would star in a similar cinematic monument and work of art.

What the camera probably captured was petty infighting, incompetence, a know-nothing cabal of toadies kowtowing to an oaf and imbecile and a whole lot of criminal activity on 1/6. 45 is probably too stupid and vain to realize that the viewers will be watching less and listening more. Talk about White House tapes...

We haven't seen the tape yet. But I did hear the photographer testify that there was "more."

Pretend that you're a federal prosecutor in the Department of Justice. Do you really think one piece of evidence is enough to haul Trump off to the pokey in handcuffs?

The DOJ needs a mountain of evidence that is bigger than Trump's mountain of defense.

Don't you think we've probably seen everything of value in the filmmaker's possession? Sure, it's worthy of a subpoena, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Besides, have some pity for the 24/7 news coverage. The MSM would never forgive the justice system if they didn't let Trump destroy himself in court . . . politically naked, full frontal and flaccid . . . for all the world to see.

Ever since Trump floated down that escalator and invaded national media, he has been example one for someone with a grave and obsessive need for attention. If he stays out of jail and runs again, I expect the two years lead up to the 2024 elections to be a goldmine for media, as it will be all Trump, all the time. I wonder if and when the American public just gets tired of his machinations.
